Is there anyway to get the all-Human council option without a renegade bar equal to or greater than the paragon bar? I'm going around on side missions trying to get as many renegade points as I can, but I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to get it up to where my paragon bar is since I'm running out of assignments. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

i'm pretty sure that choice is open regardless of your paragon/renegade levels, more specifically you're referring to the choice to have the Alliance fleet defend the Council or to focus on Sovereign, effectively letting the council die and leaving it open for the humans to take control. in all of my runthroughs i've been given both choices, regardless of differing levels.

I think if you have more Paragon points than Renegade, if you sacrifice the council to focus on Sovereign, you get dialogue that suggests a human-led council, but if you have more Renegade points, it sounds more like an all-human council.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this, been a while since I've done a total renegade playthrough of ME1.

But in either case, it really makes no difference for ME2, since you never see the council (if they die in ME1), and dialogue with Anderson suggests it's a multi-racial council in any event. Not sure if that choice will affect ME3 yet or not.

This is what I have heard, but I never did a hardcore renegade run through ME1 where I killed the council.

Yeah that's why I'm trying to get the all human council so I can get a 'fall of the elite' scenario or something similar in ME 3.

Even if you get the "all-human" ME1 ending, you'll never get that in the ME2 beginning, even if you let the council die as renegade, the ME2 will still start with a human-controlled council, and not all-human one.

Their is not going to be a all human council for ME3, and it was not implemented for ME2. it would have been really cool, however.

Sadly, as with all the ME1 > ME2 transfers, and probably ME2 > ME3, I feel that Bioware dropped / will drop the ball.
