Please do not ruin the game with an MMO. The very reason many of us play it is simply because of the non-mmo status. No one makes L.A.N. based games anymore it seems. Yet, multiplayer(non-mmo) would be VERY WELL RECEIVED!
After reading the interviews about a possible sequel...

I want multiplayer so I can roleplay with friends like I did on nwn. So, it doesn't have to be an mmo, but dedicated servers would be awsome so people can upload their modules, host own servers, yadda yadda yadda.. . whoever played nwn, knows what I am talking about.

I liked it very much in NWN to play the campaign with friends. And the huge amount of good multiplayer mods/persistant worlds.

Not an MMO. We need more good single player games. Besides, we've already got Knights coming down the tube.
And in MMOs you can't change things or really be "the hero". Single player is superior.

I'll sign on this.
Singleplayer games are fun, but the community could do so much more with a little MP.

Could someone please give a link to that interview? I'd prefer to read it before voicing any opinion on that matter.

A non-MMO multiplayer would be awesome.
Maybe some sort of arena-fight, too...

Lord no...not worth their time. You have people crying about how overpowered stuff is as it stands now. Could you imagine what it would be like if they offered arena fighting?
Would be nice if multiplayer was available long as they kept the same level of character detailed intereaction for those that would still prefer the single player mode.

HA, I would love a Dragon Age MMO just as much as a strait up single player experience.
If it is an MMO, we're talking years down the line here, at least four or five. So it will be vastly improved over modern MMO's.
But I don't trust any of this w/o some hard proof. Whip out this interview son.

I'd can see potential as an MMO, lots of factions to gain/lose rep with, but I don't have faith in any game producer to do it with enough quality for my liking.

If they make an MMORPG of DA, i'll simply not buy it. No dramatics, just won't.

I can't see it happening for a while.
The guys who worked on the game are in Edmonton. They guys with the MMO expertise are in Texas. It would take a lot of years and resources to create the MMO. It seems less risky to reuse the engine to make a Dragon Age multiplatform sequel as well as regular DLC.
MMOs are a financial risk. They may want to learn from the experience of making, launching and maintaining TOR. Before committing to more MMOs especially since EA are cutting costs. If Bioware Texas does create a second MMO, I think they will be strategic about it rather than use whatever licences Bioware own.
