Exactly how many coins are there and where do you get them all?
I only managed to get 4, three just laying around, one from the duke's son. Obviously I didn't get them all because the quest is in my completed quests saying "There wasn't enough time to follow through with the Orlesian high-society game. Throwing coins into a fountain is silly anyway."
I couldn't find anything about the coins, so any help would be great!

Have you tried the merchant? He sells one as well. I believe you get a attribute points by completing the quest.

There are 5. Three are scattered around the area, the merchant has one, and Cyril will always give you the last one.

After completing it, I leveled up, but it wouldn't let me access attribute screen. It also said I received an item, but I don't actually have it.

All you get is a single attribute point to spend, IIRC.
