Thanks Revan, I was just curious.

I am just surprised that they can not replicate the issue especially since it looks to be fairly easy for those of us who have posted about the issue. I guess I will not finish my mage or rogue Hawk's, and go play another game.
Again I hope to be proven wrong and that they do find the issue and release a patch.

I ask because I am a PS3 Plus subscriber and, thus, use Sony's cloud service. I have completed character saves in the cloud from DAO, DAA, DA2, ME2 and Skyrim. If I copy one of my DA2 cloud saves back onto my PS3, then use that character in MotA, and MotA corrupts the character save file, it would only affect the copy I made, correct?
Any enlightenment on this would be appreciated, as would an update from Bioware.

When the MotA bug corrupts a character's save files, does it spare saves that are in the PS3 Cloud?

From My Experience, untouched saves remain good, or unsaved over files. I have a save with both DLC's done, just before " The Last Straw" and it continues to work, any file I have saved over, or post game saves have become corrupted. From this I can say that your saves on Cloud should be ok as long as you do NOT save over them and leave them. I think even loading them would be ok, as long you do not save over them.

BioWare, we are not going anywhere. We are paying customers, you SOLD a product, a product that is now unplayable, you need to step up and fix what you broke. I am HIGHLY disappointed. I know none of you will reply or do anything about this but I plead to your decency. Fix what you messed up. WE as a community deserve that..
at this point the only thing that will work and get there attention is a class action lawsuit.
only the lawyers would really get anything but the only thing that seems to make these companies actually do anything is the threat of losing money

Since we have not heard from BioWare in a while, and this has been going on for over an month or so. I guess we are stuck with the corrupted saves. I am really disappointed with BioWare for this. I never had any real issues with DA2 till this DLC. Also why do they seem to have corruption issues only on the PS3. They had corruption issues with ME2 and now MOTA DLC. I would love to be proven wrong and that they fix the issue.

im sure they can and have replicated it but theyve already moved on to dragon age 3 so they could careless to fix it

When I made him a Warden, he should've had his Warden armor equipped from that point on. But when I went into Act 3 I noticed that it was in my inventory. Now I'm playing Legacy and his pre-Warden armor is all he's wearing and I can't equip the Warden armor onto him.
Not only that, but the Warden armor doesn't have his armor upgrade's bonus attached to it.
So.... yea.... do I just go around looking at Carver in non-Warden regalia? Because I don't wanna do that! T_T

I had already beaten the game long before I played MoTA, I downloaded it day 1 and beat the DLC a short while later. Today, I decided to boot up my save file, just to double check something as my profile on here shows my Hawke dressed in the wrong armor from what I recalled equipping her.
I loaded up the game, and found several of my save files corrupted: My post-DLC save in Hawke's Estate, an auto-save created shortly before my own save, and then two saves on the Mountainside Path (Which if I recall correctly is only a few moments before the final battle of the DLC). However, a save I have in the Chateau Courtyard (Approximately 2.5 hours earlier from the Mountainside Path or Estate saves) Loads up just fine, as do every other save I have for the character.
I could easily just replay those last two hours, or even just load up a save from the end of Legacy so I can at least have a workable useable save in the estate, but this is just so frustrating I've never had anything like this happen before.

System Software: version 4.00
Game Type: standard edition
Game DLCs:all available
I started MotA in Act II and completed it without experiencing the save file corruption issue during the DLC, so I proceded with the main quest and all went as usually untill I started the "Demands of the Qun" quest. Every save file (manual or auto) I have after the Arishok orders his men to attack is corrupted.
To be sure that the problem was given by MotA I loaded a save file I kept before starting the DLC, and played the game again ultill the "Demands of the Qun" quest, and I didn't experience the issue anymore.

GREAT testing, I do hope Bioware is at least monitoring this post as this could help them "locate" the problem to patch it. Did you uninstall MoTA, or just not activate the statue? This could also be valuable.

Thank you, it's exactly what I hope! I did not unistall the DLC, I just didn't activate the statue. In my previous post I forgot to mention that I experienced the issue when starting the Demands of the Qun quest with both Legacy and MotA installed and completed. Unfortunately the uncorrupted save game I kept was made before I completed both Legacy and MotA, so I don't know if the issue is given by Legacy + MotA completed or by MotA alone. In the next days however I will try to complete MotA alone, then test the issue, and Legacy alone, then test the issue. When I've done I'll post here what will happen.
