She seems to have a little disobedient streak. Not exactly the best raw material for the Qun it seems. Maybe she should have left Tevinter for some other human nation instead of Par Vollen.

To be honest I'd rather she'd given me the quest and then let me get on with it with my regular companions. She seemed to die awfully quickly if I left her to manage herself, so was healing her/making her drink potions far more than any other party member. I also felt there was no trust at all between us even when I did still support her.
I disagree. She at first is unsure of what to make of Hawke, but if Hawke supports her she trusts him and wishes she had been honest with him. She trusts Hawke then and even if Hawke does abandon her, she understands that she kinda brought it on herself.
Also, just use a Maker's Sigh potion to respec her.
And I never really did get why I had to sneak into the Castle, creep round to the Vault and break in, when she knew there was going to be nothing there.
She told Hawke that the Heart of the Many jewel was in the Vault, so she needed to be convincing. She also didn't want to kill the guards, so that's why she asked Hawke to sneak around. She doesn't like violence being used to solve something because there are always other ways to solve something.
Until Salit actually showed up I wondered if it was all a set up to get me killed. If she shows up in DA3 I will either not recruit her or if forced to recruit her will use her as little as possible and I will never, ever romance her. To be absolutely honest, I don't find her attractive either physically or personality wise. I'd much rather they bring back Sten but since they say he's been "re-educated", I guess that's unlikely.
Who's to say Sten won't do what some of the Tevinters did? They repeated what the Ben-Hassrath said and pretended to be converts, but they held true what they really believed.
And I'll definitely recruit her, romance her, and use her. She's awesome and beautiful imo.
Felicia Day did a great job of being Tallis.

I just read a post here on the forums that said that Redemption takes place before MotA. So... that would mean that Tallis was already demoted once from her position of Tallis before we meet her, correct?

Yeah I think your right. I remember her being demoted for the first bit of the episode, then she gets back her title. & in the DLC Tallis says she was Ben-Hassrath so guess she some how got her title taken away again. I wonder why.
& I think she is trying really hard to accept the ways of the Qun, and she wants to, but she has some beliefs she is having trouble put aside it seems.
Oh & think this page needs a picture of Tallis so here is SS of her. That is probably one of my favourite parts of the DLC!

hmm out of curiosity, does anyone know if Felicia Day did the majority of the writing for Tallis's dialogue in the DLC, or any of the plot for the matter? Or did she just create her character's over all personality & characteristic's and left the dialogue & plot to the bioware writers for the DLC?

I have been wondering that for awhile. I knew she wrote Redemption, I just wasn't sure how much of MotA she wrote. I was just curious if she wrote some of the dialogues for Tallis or collarberated with the dragon age team with the banters/ dialogue Tallis was involved with.
I am assuming if that is the case then she gave them a outline of how her character is suppost to act, characteristics, personality etc, & gave bioware free riegn on the dialogue. Then afterwards she might of checked over Tallis's dialogue once it was complete to make sure Tallis was portrayed the way she imagined she should be.

I loved it my first PT, almost missed it, but the green of her outfit caught my eye. I was like -- "wait is that Tallis?" LOL. Epic trolling indeed. Pro assassin style.
Honestly with the sneaky bits I was having flashbacks of Hitman. I tend to get bored with sneaking and just go "wouldn't it be faster to just slaughter everyone?" For Tallis, though -- I did the sneak thing. On my two handed warrior it was especially hilarious. Mostly because when we got "caught" I busted out my GIANT two handed sword from thin air. I laughed for a good minute at that one.
Anyways, bored and stuff so have some Tallis screenies....

I only noticed her because that armor always has this "focus on the cleavage" effect on me (probably intentional... I hope

This brings me to the following amusing scenario: If Tallis was created by Ms. Day, but one of the core DA writers wrote her for MotA, does this mean they were engaged in fan-fiction?

Ha bet that would scandalize Mr. Gaider

Sten would largely be the same, though his face would look a bit more different then in DAO. He's a warrior, so his beliefs would not have changed that much except when it comes to the Warden. I really hope him and Tallis become the next Arishok and Arquin. They would really move the Qun forward.
Then they shouldn't become Arishok and Ariqun. The situation with the Qunari is a zero sum game. The Qunari profit while Thedas loses. Therefore, the Qunari must all die.

I do believe if Tallis & Sten became prominant leaders of the Qunari they could give the Qun a fresh perspective. They could help educate the Qunari on our culture, to help understand our motives and behavior, there could be potential understanding between the two factions of religions & ohh of course educate them about sugary baked goods, like cookies...mmm <3

Gah! Sorry but the Qunari must all die? You would really kill everyone that believed in the Qun?.. wait before I continue did you mean the Qun religon must die or everyone that believes in the ways of the Qun must die?
But still your statement you just argued..
"Tallis & Sten should not become Arishok or Ariqun because the situation with the Qunari is a zero sum game where the Qunari profit while Thedas loses & therefore the Qunari must all die".
How does giving important titles to Tallis or Sten mean the Qunari must all die?? Also to say Thedas has lost something requires the premise that Thedas had something but it is now lost to them. However, considering Sten was born under the Qun & born in Thedas, how could Thedas lose him, he has always lived in Thedas and is dedicated to the Qun.
I don't think you should use the term Thedas to talk about everyone else not under the Qun (if that was your intention) as the Qunari live in Thedas as well making your argument flawed if you argue it that way, because if the Qunari profit then presumably wouldn't Thedas profit too?

The only way to deal with the Qunari is through iron and blood. Templars, blood mages, Orlais - they're small time compared to the evil of this civilization.
Going from feudalism to Orwellian communism is not a step in the right direction.
