Being Shadow Broker with Liara. Or freelancing with Garrus.

... Paragon femShep infiltrator will take a long vacation at that little retreat she won in a wager with the Pinnacle Station admiral. Hopefully, Thane will be accompanying her.

... Paragrade femShep soldier will join C-Sec to lead it, once Capt. Bailey takes his retirement. Hopefully, Garrus will accompany her.

... Renegade maleShep vanguard will grab Jack and the Normandy and to become pirates.

I find it interesting how many people base their endings off their Shepard's renegade/paragon alignments.

I reckon he should be promoted to Rear Admiral for saving the galaxy then demoted to Major for breaking every reg in the manuel.

Major John Shepard has a nice ring to it.

Also, I see Ash as a Staff Commander in the future. :D

If I was Shepard, I would devote the rest of my life to doing the least amount of productive activity humanly possible.

hm...

as i play mostly paragon sheppards which are male and have biotics....well he would tackle the task of rebuilding the galaxy head on and make it a better place in the process by routing out crime and going after corrupt leaders and other bastards)

he might marry (but i do not think so - i personally dislike marriage because there are to many broken ones in my family :(

but he will take up new positions in the alliance and the council (maybe head a joint military peace keeping taskforce of all the races as the commanding admiral or taking a position as "leading spectre" (they may only need the answer the council, but IMHO they should have a commander as the use there resources better and to avoid having multiple spectres pursue the same mission if that is not necessary....and he might repurpose cerberus (with Miranda in charge)
and he might use his influence to transform the galaxy by getting rid of stupid laws and make the council see reason in things they might be unable to now

what i do not see for my sheppard is:

children and retirement because of old age (he is a cyborg...IMHO he does age a lot slower now....i mean they used a hell of a lot of technology to bring him back, so he might outlive an assari now (only Legion might live longer))

so in the end it will be a live of continued service and i would be happy for such an ending (saving the galaxy and dying might be heroic, but i would feel cheated if my shep would not live to see a saved galaxy!)

and maybe - in the far future - if technology is advanced enough (without the reapers comming along all the time killing everything) he might look into the origin of his most challenging enemy (and leave the galaxy with an expeditionary force)

that's it i think ;)

greetings LAX ;)

Easy, just after the Reaper War, my Shepard will get revenge on the Council by blackmailing them into resigning, using Liara to find all they're dirty secrets to show that you don't mess with the Shep! Using this chance, they would allow the other council space races to join with their own seats, since they've paid the price and waited long enough.

Then, Shepard will simply drop off the map and never be seen again. Where Shepard will go? No one, but the Shadow Broker knows.

On earth, remembering all the battles fought, friends lost and saved who are out there in the galaxy. Now divided as the mass relays are gone, destroyed in the war against the reapers. Toasting to them from afar and wishing them farewell with the faint hope of seeing them again one day.

And then learning those darn dance-moves!

After the War, and dealing with PTSD, Shepard (Female) marries Kaidan, and eventually dies of complications from childbirth.

(Male) Retires from Spectres and Alliance, and helps Tali and the Quarians adjust to a new life planetside.

After the Reapers are destroyed and congratulations and salutations are over Shepard will find himself in a room with a single monitor that is connected to my skype. I will inform him that I will no longer control his movements, monitor his life, or make the big decisions for him. He will be on his own , free to make his own decisions, no longer bound to the whims of a council of writers or the control of a single person..he is free....in which he immediately becomes  insane due to this revelation and winds up in the newly built Teltion Insane Asylum.

Male Shepard: Permanent Romantic partner to Ash. Father of a kid or two, hiding from the rest of the verse where only a few people can find him. Mentally unstable but somewhat functional.
Female Shepard: Involved with Vega, still a SpecTRe but acts more on her whims rather than the will of the council. Lost an eye and an arm. PTSD but hidden under snark and ruthless nature.

I'm kind of hoping that my Shepard will be around to temporarily mentor the next ME character. At least at the start taking the role that Anderson had in the first trilogy would be a fitting and final tribute to Shepard.

That's of course if he/she's not dead either from the war with the Reapers, or because the timeline gets bumped up significantly for the next story arc.

The galaxy is going to be in shambles for decades. I can't see any of my Shepard's being able to stand idly by without helping in some way to the best of their abilities. If that means they rush around the galaxy in the Normandy with a loyal crew of like-minded individuals, helping the helpless, befriending the friendless and defeating the... feetless.

What would be a massive eff-ing cop-out, would be if the entire thing was in Shepard's head. The whole series was merely Shepard in a nut ward working his way through a mental breakdown. Or if it was all part of the prothean beacon vision messing with his brain.

Deja Vu...

Cant remember how long ago, but there was another one of these threads in the ME2 forum I think.
I joked about Shepard waking up in the Med Bay right after Eden Prime...turns out he had a very elaborate and linear dream. Image IPB

I don't think BW would go the "Dallas" route though.

Taking over Cerberus as a Paragon, turning the organization into something new. Renaming it "Halcyon" with its insignia the Paragon Wing.

If you don't know what that word means, go look it up.
