Well assuming that i actually stick with my "Control" ending after the EC is released, i would probably see my Shepard using the Reapers to help rebuild the Mass Relays (If that's even possible, that is), as well as do everything in his power to help rebuild all the worlds of the galaxy. Of course my Shepard would also try and contact his LI to let them know that he is very much alive, just not in the way she would have expected. He would let her know that he is ok and to move on without him, promising that they will be reunited again one day.

More than likely going about his work as a Spectre. Given the mass chaos that historically followed wars, he would have his hands full putting out little fires all over the place like Cerberus dead-enders, political extremists, pirate bands. Also I bet Liara wild keep hm busy with Shadow Broker related stuff ,
