So After finishing my second run through I did a play through with Merril and Anders but the only side quest I could get was for Anders. Did I miss a secret item somewhere or is the silly elven blood mage not cool enough to part of the dlc?

Anders, Isabela, Aveline and Fenris seem to have special quests in this DLC. The other companions don't have one, as far as I can tell.

Don't worry about Merrill. I believe eventually a very important DLC will come up and she'll be a major part of it. Something about Arthalan.

Where did you hear that?

Ah it's just someone found a list of ITEM names, like Thrice-Enchanted Gloves[Which is generally on most peoples games, but doesn't add anything strangely], and the Deep Green [The new ring for MOTA] One was called Arthalan Flux Crystal. Something close to that.

The "Barracks"/ Pendant of the Morning Frost /Arlathan Focusing Crystal/ The Unbroken Circle/ The High Lords' Belt/ Belt of Acumen/ Band of Stolen Shadows/ The Deep Green/Brother Bedine's Mnemonic/ Hawke Family Cres/ Ring of Thought/ Thrice-Enchanted Gloves

Edit: Guess it was Arlathan Focusing Crystal. XD

Only Isabela and Aveline have real quests. Everyone else gets some sort of special item. I've heard that Merrill is somehow left out, but an item does exist for her.

It seems like Legacy and MotA have both featured "special content" (ie. companion-specific quests, special dialogue) for Bethany/Carver, Varric, Anders, Isabela and Aveline. That leaves out Fenris, Merrill and Sebastian, but Seb is a unique case because he is a DLC character; most people don't have him in their parties, and you can't access him during Act 1.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's at least one more DLC that has "special content" for the elven party members. As Myusha said, it might relate to Arlathan.

There is a rumored 'Starkhaven' DLC, so Seb would play a prominent role in that.

"New Elven Based DLC"

Merrill: Ooh, what's a Krayt Dragon?
Hawke: A dragon... made out of - crates, maybe? I dunno.
Isabela: I don't think I want to see a Crate Dragon.
Merrill: And I found this *lights up* lightning sword. *waves around lightsaber*
Aveline/Fenris: *simultaneously* I WANT THAT SWORD!
Isabela: It probably belches poorly made Antivan knock-offs of Orlesian fakes.

Seeing as there will probably be two more dlc, maybe one will be elf focused. Hopefully.

I can just imagine Merrill waving a lightsaber around all innocent like.

The "Deep Green" reward you get looks to me like it would suit Merrill really well ... Not exactly the same as a quest (even a collection quest) but it's something?

And yeah, I think there will be an elf based DLC - all the other (vanilla) companions have had spotlights on them - Varric, Anders and sibling in Legacy, Isabela and Aveline in MotA.

It would be nice to have a little more light shed on the subject, indeed. I still strongly suspect Arlathan is actually the Golden/Black City, and I'm hoping for some more hints and lore to reinforce that theory.

I'd nerdgasm for 3 months if there is an elven history themed DLC.

I'll be pissed if Merrill gets no DLC that focuses on her specifically and elven lore. Other companions could have some unique stuff, but I want Merrill to be the focus of it.

Merrill will get some spotlight. Without a doubt.
She's overdue. And her sidequests left a taste of unfinished plot thread in my mouth.

Now I'm going to be disappointed if there isn't. :crying:

Does it taste like chicken?  Because...I have the same taste, then.  :P

Yeah, so far, pretty much all of Merrill's DLC content has focused on the goofy but adorable, "Oh Merrill! I can't believe you just said that." side of her character through banter but I want to see more of the 'dalish pariah' Merrill who's driven to discover lost elven lore and magic.

If there is going to be two more dlc, then hopefully the next one is an elven story driven one, with a nice Halla statue to start the dlc.

Nah, a varterral statue would be more bad ass looking.  Not a life-sized one, of course...it wouldn't fit in the estate.

Call me stupid, but I think Starkhaven is being saved for the Exalted March expansion.

Wildervale DLC is next followed by Es****ch DLC. Then Act IV-V will be covered in the expansion. That's when we'll see Sebastian again (unless he's still with you).

Of course I could be talking out of my ass and the developers at Bio Ware are reading this and are pointing and laughing at me, but I'm feeling confident.

Where do you get this? Just speculation? You mind letting us into it if that's the case? Cause it sounds interesting, but I have heard nothing like it.
