I'm guessing it's not a funny joke? Though this forum is no where near the worst I've seen.

Romances at this point are ridiculous. Reapers are taking over the galaxy and shepard wants some snu-snu action? In some ways, this kind of ruins the romances themselves, almost cheapens them.

why? we all know that the reapers aren't going to win. Shepard has more than enough  time to romace everyone<_<

More of my frustration comes from people who want this and that and all sorts of stuff added to the romances. After so much arguing about s/s romances I'm sick of them entirely.

:wizard:

Let me clarify.. I meant arguing with those who DON'T want s/s.

I want them. But I'm starting to become sick of romances entirely.

Clearly, you have no idea how human emotions work. Being faced with iminent and almost certain death strengthens emotions, making romance more likely. It's entirely natural. Just because you may not care for them doesn't make them unrealistic or dumb.

I wouldn't mind unique items for the romance if they chose to put that in, but I too would rather have more conversation and interaction in general. You can never have too may conversations with your LI. :wizard:

I agree, a gift system just seems irrelevant atm.  I would much rather they implement a clutter system (ya know, your LI leaves crap laying around your room)
And yes, interaction is the best implementation of their time, if they want to develope it.

I'd like to see option to choose armour for LI, but, to be honest, I'd like to choose armour for everyone and finish team catsuit from the beginning...

Nah, no gifts for me. They're nice, but let's leave that to Dragon Age. Implementing a gift system in ME3 would be like adding more flour to a cake that's come out of the oven. In my opinion, the best "gift" you could give your LI is some wicked armor and skill upgrades so they can live. XD

What, like crackers in the bed? Or were you thinking socks on the floor?

I think you've already heard me rant about those blasted catsuits Jacob and Miranda wear. <_< In combat, I want all my squaddies in armor. They just look too squishy and ridiculous otherwise. I happen to be the kind of weirdo that actually likes having an inventory to manage though. Call me crazy! :P

Well crackers not so much, but article sof clothing and things of that nature yes.  When I was just dating my wife (before we got married of course) she used to leave all sorts of stuff laying around my house.  It seems realistic that your LI woudl leave stuff in your room on the Normandy.

I'll be content if they let the LI bunk with Shepard, but I'm not holding my breath. Poor Shep will probably still have to ride the elevator to speak to his/her LI. I suppose they might use that little call button where you can summon LI for a cuddle. Although it would be much nicer if you could chat with them.

Hmm, okay, I'm sure we'll see another "bunk scene" if Shepard's current LI is alive at that point. If not, s/he'll look at an image of him/her like s/he did in ME2.

Overall, I like the idea, maybe it'll be a nice feature like collecting ship models in ME2 - you can fetch some special presents for your LI - just check out the stores and shops. I also like to see a feature that allows you to call your current LI to your cabin for a talk or some snuggling ... whatever you want.

If BW is NOT going to add it to the game, they can do it via DLC - the "Love interest enhancement DLC" - I'd pick one. For Ash, in my case ^^

Our "gift" to them is fighting for their survival. If you want to add anything to romances, add more dialogue features, tales of the past sort of thing. ME2 was rather bland and lacking. But gifts...why? Why not unlock new outfits as was mentioned in another thread. Personally I'd be satisfied with the in depth dialogue.

That's what I'm looking for with that idea of the "Love interest enhancement DLC" Image IPB

Just make them deeper, more interesting than in ME2. I'm not that kind of dude that's talking himself into bed or something. *romantic dude is romantic*

Eh, no. This for me is taking it a bit too far. I'd rather just have more unique dialogue and expressions than be able to "dress up" my LI. But I hate games like the SIMS, so that's just me.

Same here.
