Getting killed by a bee was awesome.

Yeah, they even included a dramatic sound effect for that moment when the camera pans away from Hawke from above. lol

I love the bee sting moment. I also love the one where he gets upset at wearing the same thing as another noble.

Yeah, Sarcastic Hawke is pure gold all throughout DA2, but it really felt like they were really upping their game in making Sarcastic Hawke hilarious in Mark of the Assassin.

I haven't gotten too far into the game, but my favorite moment so far is when speaking to Varric in the Hanged Man about the Grey Warden - she balls her fists and says "We may have to wring it out of him. These Wardens can be secretive."

Such a ridiculous thing to say - and the look on Varric's face after she says it is priceless. LOL.

Hah. Glad you guys liked those moments - the writers gave me gold to work with. The bee sting melodrama was probably my favourite, though.

I get the feeling these things are funnier with a male.

It is... MHawke sounds like a pansy when he says it. Great voice work.

Bee sting.
It was pretty funny with my Hawkette, too.

@Addai: definitely. I personally hate FemHawke's VA because I don't think she puts any emotion into her lines, whereas MaleHawke just does every line perfectly.

I agree with you on this Ethereal Writer Redux. However I do like the FemHawke's VA agressive responce, it's not that bad.

I dunno that MaleHawke's VA does every line perfect. He often goes sort of overboard on the quizzical.

When he expresses his surprise at the presence of Cahir, for instance: "A Chasind? Here?" He says it in tones so astounded that he could not have been more flabbergasted if Cahir had been riding a griffon and wielding a lightsaber.

But he does nail the snark pretty well. I was rolling through the entire MotA questline.

Everything Sarcastic M!Hawke do in Mark of the Assassin is so dramatic and flamboyant. It just makes me want to set myself on fire.

Funniest moment for me was troll!Hawke talking to Isabela about Gamlen, and steadfastly refusing to take her remotely seriously, ending in a "you have pretty eyes" callback. I about fell off my chair - it was the perfect culmination of a naturally developing recurring joke ("swooping is bad" writers, take note).

The moment after the cliff actually felt a bit... unfinished to me. I mean, Hawke needed to pull on a pair of sunglasses after that joke. Or one of the companions needed to say something. Or the music had to flare. Or something. You don't just make a CSI pun and leave, it's a two-part gag, it's not done until you get the Pete Townsend in there in response.

I missed the bee sting. D: Where was that?
