Funniest moment for me was troll!Hawke talking to Isabela about Gamlen, and steadfastly refusing to take her remotely seriously, ending in a "you have pretty eyes" callback. I about fell off my chair - it was the perfect culmination of a naturally developing recurring joke ("swooping is bad" writers, take note).

The moment after the cliff actually felt a bit... unfinished to me. I mean, Hawke needed to pull on a pair of sunglasses after that joke. Or one of the companions needed to say something. Or the music had to flare. Or something. You don't just make a CSI pun and leave, it's a two-part gag, it's not done until you get the Pete Townsend in there in response.

I missed the bee sting. D: Where was that?

Choosing the sarcastic option when talking to one of the guards. I think it's the one at Tegan's left.

Haha. I specifically requested that we get a pun in there, and then got a couple of re-records until we got a reading that had the big pregnant 'Caruso pause' in there. I mentioned, though, that I wish our helmets had visors, because that would be a moment where Hawke should be flipping it down.

Hah. Glad you guys liked those moments - the writers gave me gold to work with. The bee sting melodrama was probably my favourite, though.

I need to buy the DLC now.

Found the Male Hawk version of the bee sting. Bioware...Who ever wrote the idea for that scene needs a big raise. It was one of my favorite parts. The other was more subtle, It was the scene
just after killing the Wyvern when the party host came and defends Hawk's right to first kill. I think Hawk looks at Mr. Fancy-Pants with a HUGE grin on his face during the dialoge.

I've listened to both male and female Hawke, and I think sarcastic male Hawke is better because he can sound overly dramatic for stuff like that for added humor. Posted Image

Dear Mr. Epler,

You gained +5 friendship when I saw the bee sting sequence. You gained +20 rival for the Caruso thing.

I loved the bee sting and the copycat clothes wearer rants. Those were priceless. I also got a good chuckle out of "I have an excellent sense of dramatic timing. And good hair."

There was another one near the beginning of the DLC that also had me laughing quite hard, but I can't remember what it was now. It's going to bother until I replay the DLC with my sarcastic female mage :P

You could at least let Varric scream "YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH" In the Varric&CAssandra part after that

There was a really good banter from Aveline and Isabella. I can't remember exactly what was said but they were arguing and Hawk goes, "Catfight, CATFIGHT!" It was priceless.

Sarcastic Hawke was solid gold throughout MotA. I also liked this exchange:

Tallis: Have you ever been part of something bigger than yourself?

Hawke: Big things have tried to eat me, does that count?

I wasn't a fan of the bee thing, just because I didn't like the camera flying into the air for the last bit. I'm sure I'm missing some reference but I thought it would've been been funnier if the camera was static and showed the rest of the guests looking bemused in the background, or with the guests in the foreground and Hawke in the background. Felt like it was trying a bit too hard as it was. Just my opinion.

And the Caruso line? No! No, bad writers!
*rolled-up newspaper*

Loved the rest of the facetious lines though, especially the replies to Tallis failing to find the key to the chateau.
"Seems like I could save time and just assume a plan will fall apart from the start."

since out of the 3 guards you can talk in Chateau Haine, first one always takes Tallis inside and other 2 just tell that they don't have the key. So if you talk to the guard with Bee Sting episode first, it's almost ridiculous that Hawke pretends dying outside and then guard takes Tallis inside for a quickie

One of the Aveline-Havke wanderings banters was AMAZING in MoTA, I don't know how I can ever take anyone but Aveline with me now.

I'm sure mods will make a mod where Hawke puts on sunglasses or flips a visor down on the helmet and then play the opening of CSI: Miami in the background.

Seriously though, that was probably one of the best moments in the game. After I heard it and stopped laughing I reloaded just to hear it again so I could go "YEEEEAAAAHHH!!!!" after he said it.

And as silly as it was, it was totally worth it.

I spoke to all my Dragon Age playing friends after finishing the DLC - I didn't ask them "did you shout YEAHHH at the fallen from grace line?", but "did you shout anything in response to one of Hawke's lines at any point?". They all said "YEAHHHHHHHHH". I actually subconciously screamed it at the TV...

Funny/sarky/trollHawke was incredible in this DLC.

The best part of that is after the guard says "I don't have the key!" and Hawke just turns around and walks away.

Most of the lines that ought to be an absolute riot do fall pretty flat for SheHawke, though.  She sounds more smug and self-satisfied than deeply ironic/sarcastic, which was absolutely needed for some lines.

Loved the Bee sting one. Male Hawke can be hillarious.

Best thing is the Carusso one. Not the line or the reference. But the way you party members just stare at each other for a moment with an unspoken "No comment" on their faces. I laughed.

Great job on this one :>
