My favorite part was when Tallis tells a straight Hawke that he has to seduce the Duke's son. Great facial animation. He's so befuddled. It was a moment straight of Archer.

Most of the lines that ought to be an absolute riot do fall pretty flat for SheHawke, though.  She sounds more smug and self-satisfied than deeply ironic/sarcastic, which was absolutely needed for some lines.

I thought it was just me.  Granted, I prefer dark humor and dry delivery to obvious gags and silliness, but the main reason it fell flat is that I'm so tired of that nancing, pompous twit and in this DLC she would not shut up.   I did chuckle at a couple of Tallis' and Varic's lines.

"Only... if there's no pancakes."

The dramatic and matter-of-fact way Hawke said it made me lol so hard. XD

I found that Mass Effect 2 reference at the start of the party really funny as well, although i don't really know if it was intentional on Biowares part.

as we know in ME2 Jacob uses his famous "Sneaking into captain quarters, Heavy risk, but the prize".

now Duke Prosper says "Hunting in wyvern territory, Terrible risk, but the prize"

I'm pretty sure that was deliberate. The writers spend enough time here to know the memes. Besides, if Lukas was working on the DLC (I think David said they all were bar Jennifer, because she was away), he wrote Jacob in ME2, so it makes sense he'd include that little allusion.

Does the scene actually change with a gay Hawke? That would be pretty awesome.

Sarcastic Hawke in any situation. I refuse to play without the Sarcastic Hawke.

This DLC is really Sarcastic Hawke's shining moment, almost every word out of their mouth is hilarious.

Bioware deserves some sort of award for Sarcastic Hawke in MoTA.

The camera for the bee sting drama was an incredibly awesome and unexpected touch.

No. I played it with a gay and a straight Hawke and they both had the same disgusted look on their faces. But with the warrior I apparently had the option to knock him out instead of whisper in his ear.

How does that part play out if Hawke is a woman?

I assume they introduce some kind of racism towards elves on the son's part, making it a job for the human.

F!Hawke also appears a bit disgusted and put out by having to play seductress. When she approaches Cyril, he does make some comment about appreciating beauty, but says, in not so many words, that Tallis isn't desirable. But I took that to be more about class versus race - he does assume that Tallis is a servant, and wants her to fetch him some wine.

It could also be about race.  He assumes any elf at a fancy party has to be a servant even when she's not dressed as a servant.

But there were elf hunters, no? Or were they servants to the human hunters? There was a lot of standing around and gossiping in the mountains...

I think they were wearing the servant uniform, IIRC.

I assumed they were there to serve the hunters cheese.

Well, tromping through the woods always makes me crave some tasty cheese.

I would think only the higher ranking servants would be entrusted with the cheese in an Orlesian household.

I'll mention two I can think of right now. Hawke lying to the drunken Templar about Ser Conrad doing "demony things". I also enjoyed Hawke's little cheer up dance for Bethany in Legacy.

The moment where my Sarcastic Hawke has the Baron or whatever he is in MotA on the cliff and says "I'd be begging for mercy if I were you" and then turns and walks away. Isabela then states "Oh he bounced" It was funny as hell.

she says that even if you pick the aggressive option, which is the best imo since he actually makes sure he dies and doesn't end up climbing. Even though they all lead to the Duke's death, the aggressive option there is by far my favorite.

The Caruso line -should- show up if A) your primary tone is sarcastic/humorous and you choose the aggressive option, and B) whenever you choose the sarcastic option.

As for the follower interjections, they show up with any of the three responses.

Haha yeah I loved that bit. It was made even better by the look Aveline and Bethany shared behind my Hawke's back, one of my all time favourite moments in the series.
