I think this mp will put my buying of ME3 in hold. Because I don't want to waste my money to support mp in single player games. Second I want to know if the game is worth of buying, before buying it, so I wait others opinions. Question will be how much did mp feature hurt the single player experience.

I have nothing agaist mp games, but I never buyed ME serie for mp or any co-op gameplay. Meaning mp has absolute zero use for me in ME serie, pure waste of EA's resources and I don't like to pay others fun. So, maybe I wait untill ME3 price will drop in next years summer.

I love Bioware insisting no compromises have been made to the Singleplayer experience. Just like Dragon Age 2 getting half the development time. But no quality was lost, right Bioware?

I'm pretty sure our Single Player experience is going to suffer and I don't give a ratsass what they say.

Argreed.

How much money do you think it's acceptable for a company to make?

A difficult question to answer in this modern day and time, isn't it?

To not get sidetracked on any irrelevant discussions, I will admit to and claim the perspective and bias of the DAO/ME1 fanboi consumer.

Since you are asking me, I will answer you directly.

I do believe that a company should make as much money as neccesary in order to guarantee the continued existance of said company in an interactive entertainment market. However, I consider the expansion of the consumer base at the expense of earlier and more long-term consumer to be the strongest sort of betrayal; of course, there is no deal made between the company and the consumer never to betray eachother: just as the pair of friends never agreed to not backstab eachother for an extra buck, the company may do as it pleases for whatever short term or long term goal it may have.

The betrayal is of the sort that while never having been agreed against, is unexpected from the victim party...

*** This is the point that I realized that this is a really silly discussion and I'll just let it go. Discussing this whole topic upon the changes of Bioware and the addition of multiplayer is all QUITE silly and I'll have no part of it any more!

Thanks for the talk, though.

Poor badger is banned.

Zeel, if you are reading this, simply go somewhere else... I respect and know how ya feel, but venting to the Bioware forums will change nothing. I think it's time you packed up and found a new gaming company to love.B)

I find it endlessly amusing that people keep confusing Bioware for a lover.

YOU BETRAYED ME! AFTER I'VE BEEN LOYAL FOR SO LONG! I'M LEAVING YOU FOREVER! YOUR NEW BOYTOY WILL NEVER LOVE YOU LIKE I USED TO! I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

I mean, Jesus, when SC2 sucked, I felt ripped off and let down, but betrayed? Nah. It's not like I know anyone who works for them personally...

Also, if anyone catches me fanraging later, they can totally call me out on my hypocrisy here.

That's pretty much unanswerable, and likely always will be.  I mean, I agree it's a reasonable suspect, but we'll almost certainly never get to see any evidence from the "crime scene", as it were.  It'll all stay locked up in Bioware's filing cabinets and on its hard drives.

I know you are looking right at me as you say this, and it's ok to just call me out on this.

Can't we just be fanboys sometimes? Is it really so wrong to be severely disappointed? I would hope disappointment would be as legitimate an emotion as ecstatic joy.

It's okay to be disappointed. It's not okay to whine about it.

Rational arguments filled with constructive criticism should never be discouraged. Claiming that a company betrayed you to pander to the Gears of War and Call of Duty playing "idiots" should be. I've seen a lot more of the later on these forums and than of the former.

I'm just as much a fanboi, but I realized that I had to be a fanboi with an open mind and reasonable standards if I expected to maintain my sanity.  I love games.  I truly love playing video games.  I'll try any game once (thanks for Gamefly, or I'd also be a broke gamer).  I just can't bear to miss out on something that is so much fun just because parts of it may be annoying (I'm looking at you, Mako and Hammerhead), or the game just isn't as good as I thought it could have been (DA2, FF XIII, Infamous 2, Oblivion, etc).

Anyway, if you ever want to try the multiplayer on the 360 for ME3, send me a PM, and we can suck at playing it together.

I agree with you on this one Cheez. Awhile ago I hated the thought of Multiplayer but now I really like the thought of it. I think it's the whole seperate team, and ability to be a different race than human aspect that drew me in.:alien:

The two things that would make me even more happier about this is, if they said it doesn't need to be a team of 4 but can be a perfect duo as well as, if you can do the co-op missions as a single person as well... mainly because of the fact that I would love to play the co-op missions as a single player as well XD

I can play the co-op missions by myself... offline?! And I don't need the whole 4 person thing, it can just be me and my good friend?! Thats awesome!

You know piggles my omelette though? OXM states that you can "even change your gender too, provided you play as a human" whereas Neoseeker claims "you can change your gender, unless of course you're an asari."

It's no closet secret I'd prefer the latter. I think I'm just going to go with OXM here since I don't want to be disappointed.

Well, I'm not Commander Shepard, but this is my favorite anti-MP poster on the forum.  I'm also not EDI, and this is also not a joke.

I'm sorry, but I've yet to hear a bad thing about this multiplayer. Everything just seems to fall nicely into place.

Everything I wanted, the ability to play with friends, the ability to play as other races. It all came to be a fact. This is going to be great fun.

Thanks, BioWare!
