As for whether or not it's playable while the player is completely offline, though? I doubt it. It's client/server-based. I don't know much about these things but if there's a server involved...

You know piggles my omelette though? OXM states that you can "even change your gender too, provided you play as a human" whereas Neoseeker claims "you can change your gender, unless of course you're an asari."
It's no closet secret I'd prefer the latter. I think I'm just going to go with OXM here since I don't want to be disappointed.

Well to be honest, there isn't really that many female Salarians to begin with, the Krogan definitely would not let their females fight with the Genophage and all. For some races it just seems impractical to have females be an option, of course there ARE female Salarians.. just not a whole lot, I'd doubt they'd let them do things the STG would.

Mass Effect 3 is automatically a failure if we can't play as female Turians.JeffZero wrote...
Oh, you definitely raise a point. I'd argue that the salarians would reconsider that stance in light of galactic extinction, but you definitely do raise a point and one I've strongly considered.
That still leaves a huge gaping issue though, I think; all turians are required to enter into military service. I know it's only one major race at this point but that one does tend to crack immersion for me a bit.

How would this change anything?Slunt666 wrote...
I'm still not sold on this MP addition, i'd much rather it if they had announced this as an xbox live/ psn network download than something released with the game. If the game feels forced in anyway, or is over to quickly, or if things done get resolved the way everyone wants, MP will be the fall guy.
It can be justified as a download just not something included on the discs.

I love Bioware insisting no compromises have been made to the Singleplayer experience. Just like Dragon Age 2 getting half the development time. But no quality was lost, right Bioware?
I'm pretty sure our Single Player experience is going to suffer and I don't give a ratsass what they say.

I've already decided there should be a BSN-specific version Godwin's Law: if your argument about a single-player flaw in ME3 amounts to nothing more than "It was because MP exists!", you have automatically lost.
Thanks a lot, can you link me to this perhaps? I have no clue what you are referring to lolJeffZero wrote...
I can confirm that the co-op missions are playable solo. For reference, seek developer Brenon Holmes' (very helpful!) post earlier in Bogsnot's Multiplayer FAQ thread.

Makes sense. I do prefer "disc" to "disk" when talking about optical media like DVDs and such.didymos1120 wrote...

Enh. I prefer it myself, but there's not a very solid case to say one is more "correct". They're alternate spellings of the same word, and the fact that one happens to be used more for magnetic media and the other for optical media is just an interesting quirk of usage (heavily influenced by the makers of optical media wanting to seem distinct).

Single player experience has been sacrificed for new shiny multiplayer experience. Thank EA games and Bioware for making such a brilliant decision.
"Leave" what exactly? The board? I leave the Board whenever I want.(or by force sometimes) What I can't exactly leave (thanks to you lovely Gears of War fans) Is the Multiplayer experience. It's now ingrained in my singleplayer experience.
Who do I thank for this disgusting debacle.
