Not sure about the name calling since I never read those posts only read the ones in which people were attempting to argue that quote without resorting to name calling.
Also Casey hudson in the same video directly after that quote says "If you wanna do a really complete single player playthrough. Then you can absolutely get to the highest level of success in the endgame."
Here's what really confuses me: why is one dev quote being treated as the irrefutable Gospel Of The Worst-Case Scenario by Killjoy, and yet another quote from that very same person that soundly contradicts his interpretation, not to mention those from other devs, automatically suspect and not to be entered into evidence?
It's not that any one is being taken as Gospel Truth, it's that as a whole all the posted dev quotes and comments look like a company trying to have it both ways.
"MP is great and will really enhance your SP experience!"
"You'll never notice a difference in your SP experience if you don't touch the MP!"

this multiplayer sounds fun and im excited for it, but i just don't get how they are gonna make this work while making sense in the story.
They fit it in the story because Shep isn't there, the story behind it is you are a 4 person squad under the command of Admiral Hackett and you're fighting for resources/whatever on various planets in the galaxy
Krogan, Salarian, Turian, Asari, and Drell under the command of an Alliance officer? That doesn't seem right. Is that really what the article said?
Yes, it was in the leaked OXM article I do believe. I guess what with the fate of the galaxy at stake everyone put aside their differences
Yeah, war is the great equalizer I guess. Maybe its some Council created task force and Admiral Hackett was appointed its leader, that'd be pretty cool.

Every time Casey says ME3 is the best place to start, I die a little more inside.
Prepare to die completely on the inside and outside when you find out that NONE of your choices matter, because all it's actually about is filling up a meter in the corner of your screen.
Instead of a series of IF statements checking certain conditions being met? Where is the proof the War Assets system completely replaces choice making entirely?

What a nonsense. Galactic Readiness Level is only one of the factors that influence the ending. You can't get the best ending just by maxing GRL out. Choices (from all 3 games) will still be the most important:Ghost-621 wrote...

@gtez Does maxing out Galactic Readiness Level automatically GUARANTEES the best ending or merely makes it achievable depending on choices?
twitter.com/#!/gtez/status/123916777854996480Choice of course! And the structure doesn't quite work that simply. There are many factors to the ending. Readiness is 1.

OK, fine, but then why are you so determined to keep on with the "I get a better ending if I do co-op and only if I do co-op" thing. That's what you seem to have taken as gospel, when, if it truly is so ambiguous, your position should simply be "This is a bit too equivocal, and you and me Bioware, we got some trust issues, so I'm not willing to commit to any position at this time."

Where's the new FAQ? I've read this one but it doesn't say anything about being able to play either gender. It only talks about races and classes.javierabegazo wrote...
In the new FAQ, it states we can be either gender of all 6 races, so please begin a new thread, talking about what sort of appearances you expect.

If you don't it won't.

And (if i got it right) by playing the co-op you will be able to free some planets or places of interest from the "enemy", and that will have some impact on the single player campaign like different dialogue options and small storyline issues.
The more im looking into it the more interesting it seems to me.
The co-op mode seems to be made in a way to motivate the players to play it, but not in a way to have to play it as a mandatory feature, so that anyone can finish the SP campaign the way they wish.

The hate for ME3 and Bioware is based on two misunderstanding that:
1. MP = Bad SP
2. MP= Bad game mode = Bad game
