Keep telling yourself that while I'll enjoy a game for what it was always meant to be. Fun.
Why do you keep quoting people and not saying anything?

Hur hur hur hur.
I'd like to find the first person who came up with "fixed" and beat him into a coma with a blunt instrument.

While I'm not going to play it (I prefer Krogan, Turian and Salarian), I don't understand why Bioware would choose drells over quarians. They have even both the female and male model made, while they should make the drell female model (if they'll even do that).

You are right. What you're saying is true... wait. True... I said true.
What you're saying is right. Right, there we go. You are.... right. It's not true, it's right. Not right as in a direction, but right as in "You're right in what you just said" I agree with you."

Do you really want to know, or is that just a rhetorical question? If it's the former, I can tell you why.

Can someone give me the linke where it's stated that the 6 species are asari, turian, krogan, salarian, drell and humans? I read an article about MP, but I didn't find anything about the species.

It's in the latest BioWare Pulse episode, I think.

Ancient Metal, gtho. If Mass Effect 3 is "one of the biggest letdowns in the history of gaming." then leave these forums. If multiplayer has ruined everything, go. There's no reason for you to post in these forums anymore.

This multiplayer mode shifts my view of the game in a big way and in an extremely negative way. So much so that I have cancelled my preorder of the game.
I'm not sure if BioWare is a developer who developes for players like myself anymore. This game seems specifically designed for the immature teenage crowd.
I also had The Old Republic on preorder, but now strongly considering cancelling that as well. We will see, though.
I'm a huge ME fan but I'm very disappointed. I never thought this once great series would come to here. Just wanted to have my voice heard and tell the devs how I felt and what I thought.

While I do understand why you're disappointed and somewhat agree with many of your points, there's one thing I don't understand.. Why is your avatar a tiger-man? Are you a tiger? I didn't know you tigers knew how to use a personal computer. You must be one of the new kind. I welcome you. Welcome to BSN.Carr5 wrote...

Not picking on you here, but if you really want to increase the chances that they'll pay attention to you, you'd be better off providing some specifics as to exactly why you're disappointed instead of just "I don't like MP in my ME." Unless it's really that cut and dry for you, of course.

And even if it was competitive multiplayer, it's optional. Don't like it, don't touch it. Why people let personal preferences get in the way of providing more options for people to be entertained by a product meant to entertain is beyond me. Fandom is ridiculous.
Personally, co-op is what I wanted if Bioware was going to do it, and now that I know they are, I'm hyped. The core team isn't bogged down with multiplayer, they have EA behind them to instruct them in maintaining the online experience so it doesn't devolve into a buggy mess like Metal Gear Solid 4's multiplayer unfortunately became, and it's entirely optional with some ramifications on the single player mode if you bother to invest in co-op to make your life easier.
It's really a win/win, especially since the main team isn't taking resources away from single player for cooperative play.

"For best ending play multiplayer?"
"It's an alternative - possible to get best #ME3 ending through SP alone."
I wish I could make the font bigger on the bolded part.
spiro9110 is right. See here, buried deep in this article:
"Of
course, as noted before, how well you do in the multiplayer can go
toward your progression in the single-player, which offers an
alternative for gamers looking to save the galaxy without having to
perform every little task as Shepard." [emphasis added]
If you are a completionist single-player like me and want to do a bunch of little side quests to improve your chances, you'll do fine. If you want to skip the errand-running and go to combat, now you can play it your way too.
If this can go split-screen on Xbox 360, I might even get another Xbox 360 for this and play with my son. He's got all the button-mashing skills we need.
Yeah, this sounds to me like some gamers didn't do all the recruit/loyalty missions in ME2, and won't want to in ME3 either, but would rather grind it out some other way and still get all the ship/weapon/readiness upgrades.
So,now they are trying to appease people that don't want (or don't have attention span long enough ) to bother with 75% of the game?Talk about rewarding pure laziness...that's what every parent would hope for his kid.
Either way, that video ,what they call it , Pulse, gave me zero confidence that are not throwing smoke again.First we got presenter that patented words "awesome" and "button" in most laughable way on internet, and managed to present himself in not very, uhm, bright light with "no one cares about 30,000 books in DAO".
Second, "it is still can be possible to achieve close to same goal" without playing silly(my word) Co-op or MP(again, i don't give a flying donkey about it in any game).
Words "possible" and "you can do it" have 2 different meanings, and didn't see anywhere second one. That's enough for me not to believe in anything that is trying to be spoon fed to us.
When i am certain , i'll consider it, untill then forget it...i am not financially supporting any form or shape of co-op or MP.

Immature is an overgeneralized value statement. But it is true that they have to add features for the younger crowd. As the pool of older gamers gets smaller, and production costs go up, theyhave to do this to hang around. And study after study shows that - in aggregate - younger players greatly value multiplayer.
The challenge is for BioWare to introduce this feature without alienating the single player crowd (and from what they have been saying at GDC Online this week, they are very aware of the pitfalls of alienating the evangelistic fans). But too many people are acting like this is squaring the circle and that it can never be done.

Except that this is exactly the data they capture and measure with their instrumentation. Even if you turn off the game event logging, the data sample is large enough for them to comfortably say that very few people read all the books. At which point, the issue becomes whether it is cost effective to make all of them.
Now there is another problem, and that is that Silverman appears to be an expert at insulting niche, but vocal, parts of the BioWare fan base, instead of explaining these issues as trade offs. But there have been numerous threads on Silverman before.

I don't think anyone would even care if they announced MP/co-op, but they had to entangle themselves in "co-op/MP will affect your SP campaign" backed up with very vague counterarguments.
No one would have anything against MP if that was not the case.I don't do MP/co-op nor i want to have any console (for same reason) , but i wouldn't be bothered with it.

The problem is, this is an EA mandated feature so that they can force used game buyers to pay them for an online pass. Generally speaking, when a suit forces a feature on you, it does not end well. I'm not seeing a reason for this to be any different.
Also, statistically, the younger crowd is the minority, the average gamer has been over 30 for at least a decade, and currently is over 35. So designing to teenagers is shooting yourself in the foot.
