I think it's more likely that they aren't available for these types of missions. We encounter Turians, Asari, Krogans, etc most of the time when we roam through Mass Effect. The Quarians mostly stick to the flotilla unless they're on Pilgrimage.

Why a krogan would obey Hackett is beyond me, though.

A pilgrim wouldn't hurt either. Better than nothing.

A lot of Turians wouldn't probably serve under a human neither.
I really like to see a biotic quarian (though at least we''ll probably see a biotic salarian or turian).

What I've seen so far looks absolutely terrible. How much disc space is being taken from the proper game so this can be tacked on?

Excellent and interesting point. And I agree with your assessment.

Pretty sure we've met more Quarians outside the flotilla than Drell.

I have no problems with anyone stating their opinions, and especially no problems with anyone stating opinions/conjecture that they can back up with recorded facts or statements. I do not approve of "correlation = causation" arguments, ad hominems, straw men, or blind denial of given details based on personal grievances (i.e. butthurt). Flagrant, unsupported contradictions to elicit emotional responses are the sign of a troll.

If you have given your case and there is no swaying you, all you're doing by re-posting "I'm going to cancel my pre-order, goodbye" multiple times is showing some deluded sense of grandeur or self-importance; in a sense, you're under the misguided belief that your taking a stand against Bioware / EA / whatever is somehow going to be a shining beacon that causes the downfall of some evil machination that is out to personally hurt your feelings. This isn't a political issue, nor a social injustice - but the way some are acting on this forum makes it sound like it is, and that's just effing silly.

Our purpose here is to inform those who are misinformed, to discuss facts, to provide opinions CLEARLY as opinions, and to responsibly speculate on things. Let's keep that in mind. :)

Ah, level-headeness and sanity on the interwebs. We have dismissed these claims.

Maybe Quarians will be involved with Co-op as a support option, remember in that demo where Shepard's on that turret shooting the Reaper?

The Quarians are the ones who blew the crap out of it so maybe we'll get the same kind of air support in the co-op missions. :D

But I really would like to make my own Quarian charactor too, they better add them....

One of the better posts in this thread thus far. It probably won't change much but it did feel like a breath of fresh air to me at least.

You're making the assumption that content was removed from the discs to make room for the Co-Op content, when it is equally (or more) likely that the additional content may be on its own disc, if necessary.

What's the point of this?  I mean, if you just so happened to have guessed correctly come the day, what does it avail you?  Not like you predicted the existence of Pluto based on orbital perturbations. You just threw out a nice round number that countless others have also "called" on some internet forum.

How about the sheer fact that any MP game that didn't happen to have the "mainstream" appeal to the general public doesn't last long? Already had my fair share of dead MP games in the form of EndWar (anyone actually still playing that game online? As far as I know, no.). F.E.A.R. 3 died out 2 MONTHS AFTER RELEASE. I'm very doubtful anyone would want to continue playing ME3's MP 3 months after release.

OK, great.   I still don't see what the point of "calling it" is.  What does it prove if you end up being right?  What do you get out of being right?

Because I actually have a brain and know that you need a lot more than four months to make a functional multiplayer.

That, and they probably didn't want to steal sales from their own game, like SWTOR.

Feel free to give me a reason why I shouldn't believe them and what they can gain on it besides pissing off butthurt people that can't accept new things and thinks a optional mode in the game will ruin it all.

ME2 was a 12gb game.
Killzone 3 was a 50gb game.

Room is hardly an issue.

Optional multiplayer WTF?!! Is this an attempt to appeal to the COD crowd? This game is a story based SINGLE player game. It doesn't need this gimmick.

That MP was a bad idea to start with, especially when the MASS EFFECT FANS NEVER ASKED FOR THIS?

The drell I've seen: Thane, Kolyat and Feron.

Then we have Lia'Vael, those two quarians on Illium, Kenn, the one you can rescue from varren (nice reference to Ascension, by the way) Kal'Reegar, Veetor, Praaza and his team, the list goes on.

Not really. Most Turians don't see the First contact war as such a serious insult. Hell most of them seem reasonably acceptable of humans throughout the game.

Yeah, but Killzone 3 was a PS3-only title.  ME3 is cross-platform, with the 360 being the limiting factor due to smaller disc size, and thus increased production costs for every additional disc that must be printed.

I like what I'm seeing. Of all the options for the MP, this was the best one.

The hate for ME3 and Bioware is based on two misunderstanding that:

1. MP = Bad SP
2. MP= Bad game mode = Bad game

Which is USUALLY the case.

There's also #3.

3.  MP= Limited lifespan= Half a game not playable.

Cool!

Now please read all relevant information released thus far before asking any questions about how the completely optional add-on component steals time, money, staff or the souls of fandom. We would greatly appreciate it.

They don't even consider it a real war.  To them, it's just the "Relay 314 Incident".

Why not have 2 discs?

Forza 3 did it and it was still a 60$ buy. One for the main story, and the other installs multiplayer.

They have. They're not sure if ME3 can even fit on two discs.

Co-op has a limited lifespan now? Ha. Good one.
