Actually, people are saying it's much better than they thought it would be and may actually work. Nice try though.
You're entitled to whatever dogmatic perception you desire.
You know, you can get banned for that if you keep it up.

I was pretty angry about it, since I thought it'd be wasted on versus modes and that crap. But it took a turn for the better.
Especially when I can play it solo if I want to.
I still have some reasons to worry, but other reasons seem to not be a concern now. We'll see.
Still concerned about the increased likelihood of Origin requirement and anti-mod features once online MP is introduced.

Quarians have been replaced by Drell due to the inability to use Biotics. Exposure to Eezo would kill them, hence why no Quarian biotics exist.
Quarians would be limited to Engineer/Soldier/Infiltrator.
Who cares if the Quarians can't be biotics? What difference does it make?
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. 6 classes, 6 races. 7 races with 1 oddball race sounds terrible.
If this is Biowares reasoning, I can't even say anything because my OCD baaaaad, and I would likely make the sense decision because of it.
@the picture, you pwned me
Krogan Infiltrator doesn't sound that likely to me...

Maybe, but I'm betting Quarians & Geth will be saved for future DLC for the MP modeSowtaaw wrote...
will the geth be unlockeable too on co-op?

Actually it does. Modern Krogan as opposed to the pre genophage ones are far more likely to fight smart. Battlemaster even more so since they have smaller numbers and have to use stealth at times to there advantage and surprise. A biotic Quarian is likely not very common at all.
The way non Asari Biotics are made pretty much means that those incidents would kill a lot of Quarians making Element zero core's unlikely to meltdown or cause enough damage to spread eezo material into a Quarian fetus. The Quarians are basically savants when it comes to ships. Any biotic Quarian are likely very very very rare.

I also am not angry about it, however I am also not happy about it. They still haven't answered the question I asked a while back so until they do I'm slightly concerned but not angry or wetting myself out of fear that it's the end of the world. They need to answer my question for me to decide if this feature will go in my pro or con list for ME3 prior to purchase.

Why the "boo hoo"?
The content is there, buried in the game, to use any of the squadmates on any of the missions.
Let's say... Thane is your favorite character. You're not interested in what Thane has to say during the missions that take place before Horizon? In how Thane reacts to the conditions on Purgatory, or during the mission to recruit Archgarrus?
Tali is my favorite character and she has even more dialogues than the rest. But do I care? Not really. It's more of the same stuff the rest of the team says and I can do just fine without it.
Legion has all the best cut dialogue anyway.* Because I said so.
*And the least amount of it too.

Actually I say Kasumi does. If wasn't companion alone then I would say Joker does.

Kasumi's dialouge wasn't cut. Well, some of it, because some of everybody's was, but not the on-mission comments and such. It just wasn't normally accessible until her DLC was released.

I think that someone said that the chances of Origin being a requirement is slim to none because of the something being similar to the Cerberus Network (sorry I don't have a link)Killjoy Cutter wrote...

But after reading all the information of the co-op missions and the ability to play them solo is really making me super excited. I still have a few concerns but that is stuff that I won't find out until I actually get the game. Super excited for this now!

Does anyone know in the coop has any story associated with it or is it just objective based ?

So did they delete the old thread ? Are they trying to keep post count down ? They closed over 400 pages of multiplayer posts so far, would simpler (if the point is damage control) to post more info on something OTHER THEN COMBAT/multiplayer RELATED NEWS.

Well according to one of the devs depending on the races you were able to get to ally with you that race becomes available in multiplayer. Also whereever Shepard went to secure in MP you are likely to fight in that area to hold off Reaper and Cerberus forces. In a way Shepard could be seen as the point of the spear and the MP players are the main army that are there to secure and hold those areas.

Locked and restarted it when the official site got the FAQ added to it and the Pulse episode.

Anywho, my little rant now ended... -
I do have my fingers crossed for Volus&Quarians to be playable, MP Co-op is a great addition, yes. I'm looking forward to doing a playthrough without having any online influence and one with, that'll be fun. It's a breath of fresh air, even if simular thing's have been done... it will add an edge to the final of an epic tale.

Heard some information that stated the Quarians are not going to be a selectable race for Multiplayer. I can' t be a Quarian Marine in Co-op .... that makes me sad =(
Same here :[
But maybe we'll get to play as a Quarian in Single Player, like how we played as Joker in ME2 but better.
Or maybe there will be a DLC for single/multi where we get to play Quarian.
Bioware, you readin' this?

Just remember, MP itself was wiped clean, shot down with people saying.. "Nawwh, not going to happen."..so, don't give up hope, just yet until it is set in stone!

And consider from ground to head, they arent much taller than an opened AR.
Also, Turians handle all the Volus fighting anywho
