Since you obviously already played the finished product, why not send some our way. If not then that's all hearsay.
Okay, then tell me. What would they gain on lying about info that's on their main page?

But the question still remains: Will Origin be required to play Mass Effect 3?

Wait did I just hear that how well you play Co-Op directly effects your single player story?...
Great so now were being roped into playing co-op so we can reach the highest levels of success... Additionally having a friend who isn't very good or inexperienced playing with you can be detrimental to your games ending?
I thought this was supposed to be fun/social thing and not competitive and vital to your games overall outcome.
/facepalm
Whats facepalm about it? He clearly states that the better your single player experience will be by winning!

- Mass
Effect 3 is a complete, standalone game that will deliver a satisfying
story experience, even if you choose not to try multiplayer. - The
Mass Effect 3: Galaxy at War system and all of the individual
components are meant to complement that amazing game and can be enjoyed
on their own or as part of the Galaxy at War experience.
- ME3
is a story about a war against overwhelming force where the most you
can hope for us survival. The more you do to fight that war, the more
you can change that story into a more optimistic one. - You
can reach the highest levels of success in the single player experience
alone, but Galaxy at War gives you alternative ways to get there. - It's about choice, and allowing players to find their own ways to stay immersed in the Mass Effect universe.
- We aren't going into any specifics on numbers right now.

You're right. It wasn't facepalm worthy. It was worth an "implied facepalm" because statements like that aren't worth a real one.

Thanks, havent read that article so that clears it up.The way Casey stated it in the video sounded like you have no choice over the missions having a direct impact on your single player games
That'd be even better if there was a setting. Then we can play multi without worrying if it'll mess up single player lol

I thought they were going to answer questions today? I guess I heard wrong sadly. I really want to know if I can play it offline, it's a simple thing.
The info said the MP can be played over XBOX Live, internet or PSN [paraphrase]. The omission of local play is a clear indication that local co-op won't be included (which disappoints me).

You can post this information as much as you like, the seemingly anti-social people of this social forum -- pure contradiction, I know -- will still rage because they got "multiplayer in their Mass Effect". When really it isn't their Mass Effect to begin with.darknoon5 wrote...

With an attitude--a weird, almost psychotic attitude--like this I HATE to see how you function with people in "the real world".boltonsquanderer wrote...
OK! Watched the vid, read the blurb and am reasonably happy that MP will have no impact on my SP game if I don't want it to. As someone who detests MP with an almost religious zeal it's content I'll never access, hope it's on a separate disc so I can turn it into a garden bird scarer - has to be some use for the damned thing.
