Just wanted to say that about 30 seconds. The new collectors edition video shows a picture of JACK. But you'll have to be quick about it because of the page flipping.

Dang good eye!

I just saw it.  I know they said what she was going to look like but its nice to actually fully see it

The mini-mowhawk with the croptop jacket, to me, seems to fit Jack's style. You do have to be quick on the pause button to really see it though.

I was pleased with the news that ME 3 would support online multiplayer along with single player campaign... They also confirmed that the co-op multiplayer would have an impact on the single player experience, which is also great news in my opinion... I just have one slight problem with all this... Why no PvP online play? I'm fully aware that ME was intended to be a rich, engrossing single player experience, and the Bio Ware team delivered on that 110% (again in my opinion), but when you make an announcement to add multiplayer to a beloved franchise there is the chance it may not work as intended. I'm assuming that the team is testing out the online experience for future projects (ME 4 anyone?), but I would have enjoyed the ability to play against other great fans of the series... Perhaps a reboot of the failed Pinnacle Station DLC from ME 1? Picture it... 4 on 4 with several different maps to keep the gameplay from getting stale... Anyway looking forward to ME 3... Keeping my fingers crossed for the movie though. :pinched:

I just want to know if they'll (bioware) give us a real Co-OP to go with the horde mode as well? I want to be able to go thru story with a squad of humans, not horde mode... Ill try it, assuming Origin isnt required, but I want a REAL co-op.

Also want a Team Deathmatch. TO not add DM of any kind is lazy. Just like not having real co-op.

Real co-op/PvP/TeamDeathmatch they clearly should all be dlc packages , you would pay for the desired mode and .... nah that type of thinking is wrong .

It just seems like the soldier would have the biggest advantage in deathmatch.

Till he gets headshotted by a camping infiltrator then rage quits. Srsly PVP in Mass Effect not a good idea.

In a pvp view-point some classes would need a major overhaul in terms of balance. The only reason there is multiplayer at all is because the seperate team found a way to implement it to work in co-op which satisfied the main team and Casey. The only reason they were not confirming or denying multiplayer before its official comfirmation was for the simple fact that they at that point in time it just couldn't work.

Campaign Co-op is an expensive venture to integrate two different players' stories. One player would have to be a squad only member w/ no bearing on another player's story.

PvP does not sit well with a lot of players now unlike during its initial rise. Plus as mentioned it would be extremely difficult to balance in terms of cost since its a system just now being added to the franchise.

Dear Bioware,

How are our local MP options coming along?

Sincerely,
People who want local multiplayer!

I would have to agree with OS... I think adding online multiplayer is risky for lack of a better term. Sure a seperate campaign holds my interest, but now I have to hope my pals are going to want to play the multiplayer missions... For someone who doesn't have alot of friends online (not to mention friends who play ME), this can be problematic and somewhat hinder the overall experience of ME 3. Also, to interject on the PvP debate... The soldier class would dominate PvP... A smart gamer using the soldier probably would rack up the kills on the leaderboards. Now if it's "every man for himself" online play, then I guess any class would work; Keeping the advantage/disadvantage scale balanced in multiplayer is very important to fans...

So long as Single Player remains completely untouched by multiplayer, this sounds like a fantastic idea. But if there is any content (an alternate ending, cinematics, dialogue, etc) achieved only through MP, then this will become an issue.
Otherwise, I look forward to giving it a shot. I'm not a MP person usually, but ACBrotherhood and Uncharted convinced me to give them a try every now and then.

I am not a multiplayer person as well.  fortunately it is like this.  difficulty to get best ending without multiplayer: hard, difficulty to get best ending with multiplayer: medium to easy.  at least that is how they describe it everytime I have heard anything about it.  I also hope it is crossplatform.  I mean why not?  PC people can use a controller too, also it is all co-op, not head to head.  so that means if any player would have an advantage somehow it only helps the real people team

the reason for not having PvP is simple, if you chose who you fought for you could either shoot your single player self in the foot by playing with cereberus, or help your single-player self by playing against cereberus.  now think about it.  it may be a nice idea to make a "special" selection that has PvP that will NOT affact the single-player campaign outcome at all.  in that case I could see PvP making sense.  I also hope that there is a movie, AND THAT SETH GREEN PLAYS JOKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  the ONLY person who looks like the person they did the voice for and they don't want to use him for the movie?  and if it is CG then they still have no excuse.  joker might not have shot a gun down a bad guys throat, but he fly Normandy well enough to kick anyone's butt.  Joker is a big character, anyone that knows the game knows Joker's voice

Agreed javeron1... PvP, but only if it's separate from the single player campaign... And Seth Green as Joker is key for the live movie... I heard spoiler info surrounding the plot of the movie, but I will keep that to myself ;)
