Now if there was a way to apply that to the entire of ME1 and ME2, dayum.

Just dl'd a mod which improved the textures for all squadmates massively; as a comparison, here's a Tali before and after:

Where'd you get the mod, I'll bite.
Neither do I. I don't know why they included the crappy textures for PC version. Some of 'em are really, really low resolution textures. I would like BioWare to go further than just higher quality textures, tessellation and other improvements would be nice.Brandonhammer wrote...
I never understood why they didn't do this from the start with the pc.

ME1 Anniversary like Halos and I think this high res should be in ME3, just saying.

I'd certainly love to see ultra high resolution textures, especially for ME1 (particularly if it also happened to fix Garrus's facial textures, since his are always set to minimum as of the latest patch for PC).
Thanks Koomazaz, for pursuing this possibility with BioWare. I hope they decide that it is indeed feasible.
In ME2 loading time are artificially made longer. In reality they loading would be almost instant depending on how fast your hard drive is. You are forced to watch long loading video without any real reason (unless you rename or delete all loading videos). I wonder what was the point behind that...fdgvdddvdfdfbdfb wrote...
I didn't really notice on squadmates actually, they're reasonably high quality compared to say, a volus.I don't really mind blurry textures so much, in fact in old games I found sharp textures look more like a photo pasted on. I also appreciate shorter loading. But the volus' situation is quite ridiculous when they can't even have a straight line down his head without bloody breaking up. The jaggies make the mouthpiece just as much of an eyesore.

Well I think they wanted to make sure we finished watching their "cool" loading screens. ME1 elevators/airlock were wicked and might have been worth the wait, but no thanks on holographic elevator diagrams.Tup3xi wrote...

maybe the high res version will be included in the trilogy box set, along with directors alterations and commentaries.
