Ok thank you this game is epic in scale but I'm hesitant in my decision becasue I don't want to screw up my ending but I'' get a grip and play it already.

Any order you want, man. The only exception you might consider is doing the small, dialogue/fetch quest ones on the Citadel and Omega and such as soon as you can so that you can reap the Paragon/Renegade bonuses from them, because the game determines the difficulty of persuasion based on the total available points at any given time.

Essentially, simpler sidequests are best done early to increase Paragon/Renegade score.  Doing it earlier means it's easier to use Charm or Intimidate later.

Sorry, didymos, had to make it clearer.  My linguistic skills are above average and my mom's an English major, and even I had a bit of trouble figuring out exactly what you meant there.  Just wanted to put it in simpler terms in case anyone didn't entirely understand your post.

Back on topic though, I agree with didymos on that.  Doing the simple, little things first, and doing the silly conversation sidequests (like with the Batarians when you first go into Afterlife) can help a lot later on.  Combat-only sidequests, like saving the falling ship from the Geth, or something like the Firewalker missions, do nothing at all for your Paragon/Renegade score, and can be done whenever it suits you.  The ones that boost your score, however, you'll want earlier, so you don't have to worry about your score for, maybe Tali's mission, for example, or Thane's loyalty mission with the interrogation.

Thank you both didymos1120 and spartacusthegod this is my first playthrough so I'm not sure which ones give Paragon/Renegade points but I imported my me1 character so I'm able to get those charm dialouges.

Don't rely on that alone. you only get a small boost for your P/R score.

I understood that dev post on the subject so that it actually didn't matter how many total paragon/renegade points you had for persuasion, but instead what percentage of your decisions so far went into which direction? As in, it didn't matter if you had 1000 paragon points, but it did matter that your decisions so far were 90% paragon?

As for the order I'd recommend, my own plans for next playthrough (normal, Insanity wasn't fun)...
-If you have Kasumi DLC, make it a priority since you get a great SMG from it
-If you have Lair of the Shadow broker, same, since once you're done, you can get deliveries (extra rewards) whenever you visit after you do a mission
-If you have Firewalker DLC, you can do it early, since you'll be fighting in the hovertank and gain XP for it even if you're low level

-much depends on your class. An Infiltrator will want his sniper upgrades pronto, while an Adept couldn't care less about those and would go for biotics upgrades. Cunsult the wiki Research guide
to see where what is.

-some annoying missions could get easier (or a bit more fun :) ) with some heavy firepower. Say... Tali recruitment mission, where the Cain launcher could make the end fight end instantly. So, early access could be good... So, missions that let you develop it early could be considered (Blood pack base, Stores on Omega and Tuchanka,...)

P.S. Tell us what you want to play, and we'll see if we can be more specific.

don't worry so much, just replay it if you're not happy with the end or you find something along the way that you want to go back and redo, i guarantee you'll find more than a few. it's not the longest game but the replay value is one of the best for a single player that i've come across.

This, I do agree with.  Technically, according to the storyline LotSB happens AFTER the Suicide Mission, but I almost always do it before.  Getting all the resources for the ship upgrades is much easier, plus there's the data reports that can feed you money, and the deliveries give you weapon upgrades occasionally too.

One of my first stops is almost always the Kasumi mission though, ESPECIALLY if I'm playing something besides a Soldier.  The Locust SMG is the best overall, fairly good damage, and amazing damage.  The Shuriken is only good up close, the accuracy is poor and the recoil is monstrous, but it does do a fairly good chunk of damage if you spam it.  I always want the Locust equipped for Shepard.

I would recommend saving Shadow Broker for a bit later on, however, it is a tough mission to do, and having more points to toss around would be a VERY good thing for your skills.  Having Liara's skills as maxed as possible is always a nice thing.

Firewalker, exactly what Jure there wrote.  It's simple, straightforward, and gives you plenty of experience to level up quick in the early game.  Doing those earlier is a good idea, definitely get those out of the way before you attempt something like Shadow Broker.  Oh, and just a tip: save Arrival for after the Suicide Mission, and after you hit level 30... it's much more satisfying to see Harbinger instead of the Collector General, and being max level will be necessary for the Object Rho battle if you want to succeed.

I would concur with a lot of what's been said above. If you're not a soldier, do Kasumi as early as you can to get the Locust sub-machine gun. It is amazingly accurate, has virtually no target sight movement when you fire, plenty of ammo (especially later in the game when fully upgraded) and deals good damage. The shadow broker mission is fantastic but on hardcore it was pretty tough. I usually leave it until I'm above level 20 minimum because there are at least 3 tough firefights during it so you'll need your squad nicely levelled up too, especially Liara. The N7 missions can be done as you like but if you like using heavy weapons a lot then leaving certain one until just before the reaper iff mission can be handy. The reason is that some of them have power cell pickups and are easy ways to replenish your heavy weapon ammo before embarking on the last few missions in the game. I can't remember the N7 mission names off hand but you can use the wiki to get the details if you like. Arrival, pretty tough but lots of fun and best left until you get to level 25 or above. An advantage of doing it before the suicide mission is that there are a few upgrades to collect which could help with later missions but really, that's up to you.
