I just want to thank the brilliant mind of Bioware for captivating me in the story of Shepard.

Yes, BioWare has the ability to do a good story and even tell it well.

Moving on.

Poorly phrased I guess; I meant; why bother making a thread about it? It just seems to teeter on random fanboyism a little too much for me.

Its a fine story, but hardly groundbreaking.

Dear lord. For once, someone makes a thread NOT whining, ****ing, complaining, and rather then get the compliments it deserves....

people whine about it.

I agree with OP. Thank you, Bioware team, for making some great stories, characters, and worlds to share with us!

While I can agree that senseless b*tching is annoying, and has happened here in the past, a fair percent of those "Complain" threads were merely people expressing why they thought a certain aspect of the game was rubbish, and, more often than not, how Bioware could fix it.

Its called critiquing, and without it, this artform would still be stuck in the DOOM days.

I meant, do you think the games are actually complicated, or was that just poor grammar messing up my translation?

And wait, if you're "Just curious," does that mean you haven't played them yet, or haven't gotten very far?

I meant epic I've completed Mass Effects 1's main mission but I haven't completed 2 yet just interested in the story I feel there was a lot left out but that's why it's a trilogy I wrote my sig when I was new to the site and in my excitement I wrote it was complicated meaning it was difficult to understand fully being a trilogy of epic proportion so yeah poor grammar is what that was. Story of my life.

Cool your jets, Turbo, lol. Crazy run-on sentences there.

And not to sound like a party-pooper, but the story's really not that complicated. I understand saying that its a good one, but in the end its a fairly iconic "Space Opera" story. I don't really understand why there are so many people here who going on about how intricate the story is, when its pretty standard.

To me, its not what was told, but the way it was told, is the reason for its success.

Oh, and your "Most no more" still confuses me. Is it supposed to be "Must know more?"

Well, I figured this forum was informal writing as long I got my question or statement across in a way the intended person could understand is what was important. I'm not trying to write a letter to the King of England. Looking for every punctuation error would take to long speaking for myself.
But I do want to thank you for being fuel for the fire, I'm in school and hope to improve my english. But until I become an english major you're just going to have to bare with me professor. You noticed my exaggeration it's a fun game that makes me think twice but it isn't my job to debate how intricate it is or isn't. I agree that a lot of the success was in the way the story was told but how extensive it is just amazes me. My sig was a little joke after I changed from compliacted to epic and what  I meant by it was  I must. No more! Like I can't take anymore.Posted Image

Seeing as English isn't my first language either, I find correct grammar twice as important as usual. I think the King of England and I would both agree. Plus, the idea of me as a professor sounds hilarious.

And I don't see it as whether its your "Job" as you put it, or not, but rather, as good way to clarify a story, and point out things that are interesting, odd, incorrect, or etc. Like in thise case; I see so many people gawking at how "Amazing," or "Intricate," the story is, so I ask them why they think so. A little pretentious? Maybe, but an answer better than "Er, because?" is always welcome.

And your sig still makes no sense, even after you explained it, sorry.

EDIT: Oh, and waaay to triple post.

I need to keep a dictionary posting with you that's impressive what is your first language if you don't mind me asking? To answer the question you've been asking this whole time pardon my ignorance. Why the game is brilliant to me Er lol The art, the story line is what really got my interest also the balance of rpg and shooter two game types I enjoy. My sig you would just have to be me to understand because before you brought how much it didn't make any sense to anybody, but me I changed it and had a little laugh with myself.

Japanese, actually, but I've been speaking english for over fifteen years now, so I think I've gotten the hang of it. :3

And that's fair, I suppose, I know I tend to lean on the "Argumenative" side, but I really just like hearing people stick to their convictions, rather than just making vague statements.

This will probably be my last post on this thread, 'cause its gotten so... Off track, lol. But seeing as you asked me, I'll ask you; What's your primary language?
