I for one, was looking forward to playing as either a quarian infiltrator ( favorite class and race ) , or a turian sentinel ( second favorite race, though my sentinel has yet to get off the Normandy SR-1, yet alone get imported to me2 ) .

Awww, you serious? No Quarians as a playable race. That just sucks.
I WANT MY ENGINEER, DANGIT!
Pick another race. Then just slam some armor on them and say it's Quarian!

Making Quarians playable would be even easier than other races, since you don't have to personalize the character's face
And the idea of having to buy a dedicated DLC just makes me go mad.

Bioware should make it so you can customise your Quarians face, but they keep their mask on whilst you're doing it, so you have no idea what any of the options are doing.

What. A race that has a fan favourite character as one of Shepards constant companions, and is instrumental in one of the major ongoing plot threads in the game is left out in favour of the Drell, a newly added race in ME2 that was designed to be fangirl bait?
Not. Happy.

Maybe it would add to much work to add Quarians as Bioware already has tons on the plate ... Quarian animations are a bit different... and yes Quarians generally aren't biotics, so you would probably not have access to all the classes. But there is just something great about fighting for and representing the most undervalued race in the galaxy.

Including quarians would be incredibly easy to do seeing as the suits doesn't make them very customizable (except for prints and such), and they are atm the ONLY alien race in ME that already has both genders of their race represented in-game. No need to create new ones for them.

How could they be? I mean, you could die because you stumbled over a rock and damage your suit.
Just like in real life :-)
You take quarians too lightly if you think they are that careless.
To quote the wiki:
Their suits can be compartmentalized in the event of a tear or similar breach to prevent the spread of contaminants (similar to a ship sealing off bulkheads in the event of a hull breach).

I'm sorry not having quarians as a race for the Co-op is unexceptable. I'm putting my foot down. I will show up at Bioware's door step here in Austin Texas and protest on their front lawn that I would like Quarian's in Co-op mode and I'll be there everyday until Daniel Erickson himself comes out and tells me to go away. Seriously I'm not kidding. I will do this. I do live here and I will be on your law. I'm begging you guys to put in the quarians. Howeve I would like to see proof of a web link saying quarians can't be in ME 3 co-op mode and yes Quarian's do have Biotic. You need to read the books however to actually see them using them.
Bioware Austin is working on the Star Wars MMO. They won't care about you and your Quarians.

Well...Tali survived gunshot wounds pretty well through both ME1 and 2. At least in my game. (Kal'Reegar too)

The answer? Simple. There.. is -still-, the big decision that needs to be done in single player.. (Yes, Lone-wolf people, rejoice.) You still need to choose either Quarians, or Geth. Either side, will be highly ticked off and give us another enemy. --- That said, I pushed for peace between both sides, talking to the Quarian on the Flotilla after Tali's trial too. (( Cannot remember the name, sorry.)) So yes, i'm hoping that they can come to a somewhat "neutral" agreement, meening; that they can put their differences aside until the Galactic war is over.
Still, doesn't change the fact I would've liked to see Quarians/Geth.. on that list, rather than the Drell.
