Bioware and Taco Bell. (Yes, this is actually a serious thread)

I think that pretty much sums up this thread. And now I'm hungry for a Mexican Pizza...

There 'are' women with larger breasts in the real world, naturally. They're just really rare. Actually take a look at an Isabela screenshot, her breasts are larger than her head. I mean, it happens, but it's certainly not a realistic representation of a person. Yes, I know it's common to do that in media. Fine. I admit that I just have a bias and hate Isabela.

Taco Bell has some of the best terrible food I've ever tasted, in my view.

Oh my god, I couldn't stop laughing after I peeked into this thread, especially over the critique of Isabella's dimensions.
As a lady who has similar (all natural) dimensions to Isabella, I must thank you for not noticing ladies of those dimensions in real life. As a shy girl, there was nothing worse than hitting puberty and having every teenage male idiot's head swivel in gym class when I had to do laps around the track. Not to mention the jealousy crap I got from the other girls. Meh.
Feel free to believe that large chested women do not exist! I fully encourage you in this belief! Mae West is pure conjecture! Queen Latifah is fictional! And everyone knows that Marilyn Monroe was a Disney animatronic creation! Jennifer Love Hewitt, I am sorry to say, is a myth!
(Just joking!)
Women come in all sizes - just as men do. (Musing: Come to think of it, Bioware tends to use the same male human body model for all its male humans, so perhaps Bioware doesn't recognize that male humans come in different body sizes... Food for thought.)

Don't get me wrong. I am not a DA2 hater. I like the game for what it is, though it doesn't rank that high on my list of favourite Bioware games. (Mind you, I waited to see what kind of reviews the game was getting, and then got it on the cheap when the price was dropping, so I have an advantage on those who bought the game for the full price when it came out.) But when I first heard that a Dragon Age 2 was being developed I did expect something completely different than what it turned out to be. Now, of course expecting DA2, which had much less development time than DA:O, to be all that DA:O was, is of course unrealistic. But I am not talking about game value here, I am speaking purely of how the game is experienced.
Now, why does DA2 feel so different? I say feel here, because I realise it's not something that you can put your finger on as if it would be a scientific fact. But where DA:O feels like a grand epic with many different choices and a plot that spans, if not a world, then at least a large part of it, DA2 feels in comparison confined, more like an interlude than an epic. Now, that's not a bad thing, and it was as I understand a conscious design choice. I just think that it might have been a change that people who first bought the game did not expect. That, and then on top of that the new art design and game style, is why some people I imagine didn't really feel that this was the DA2 that they were ' promised'. In short, it's just so different from DA:O that it seems almost like a stretch to call it Dragon Age 2.

Fine! Fine! -Technically- there are women out there with the same proportions as Isabela. They aren't as common as either of you are implying, though. The real world isn't a Playboy Calendar.
Mae West: Not nearly as large as Isabela.
Jennifer Love Hewitt: Honestly, compare a photo of the two. Nowhere near.
Marilyn Monroe: By modern standards she wasn't packing all that much.
Queen Latifah: Yeah, she's equal to Isabela in bustiness. She's also.. well.. I don't want to say 'fat', but on the hefty side.
It -is- uncommon to see breasts larger than a girl's head on someone who is clearly under 115 pounds. I suppose I should have clarified her bust-packin' was unrealistic in that -most- women as thin as she is do not have breasts that large. Does it happen? Yeah, sure. And those women are well suited for a career in adult entertainment, not melee combat.
Sure, if you go to the deep south and pick out a random trailer park you'll find G cups all around, but the cup sizes are inflated by the consumption of deep-fried candy bars, or whatever southerners eat. It still isn't the 'norm'.
Though in all seriousness, I never actually meant to make a point about Isabela in this thread. It was a joke. I just happen to find Bethany more attractive. I'm going to refrain from more breast-based debate, mainly because I don't want Mr. Woo to lock this thread down like a Starcraft Ghost.
While I think the OP is exaggerating, I do think he has a point. Somewhat. I can't help thinking that a lot of the discontent people have over Dragon Age 2 stems purely from the expectation that is would be a sequel to Dragon Age: Origins. I am not saying it isn't, but... It doesn't exactly compare to how Baldur's Gate 2 followed up Baldur's Gate or Mass Effect 2 follows up Mass Effect. Perhaps a lot of the rather vocal discontent about DA2 could have been avoided simply by instead of calling it Dragon Age; Hawke instead of Dragon Age 2, and by explaining that it would be in key areas very different from Dragon Age: Origins.
I agree. The hatred for the game could have been largely avoided if the game had simply been a spin-off and not a direct sequel. I'd still have been annoyed, but I would have gotten over it and been ready for the 'real' sequel to come out.
Now, of course expecting DA2, which had much less development time than DA:O, to be all that DA:O was, is of course unrealistic.
Well, yes and no. They could have doubled their staff for all we knew, and thus be able to get the same amount of work done in 18 months that would usually take 36. They didn't, but the customer doesn't know that.
Now, why does DA2 feel so different? I say feel here, because I realise it's not something that you can put your finger on as if it would be a scientific fact.
I think that there are too many small problems to blame the failure of Dragon Age 2 on any one of them. Though I suppose they all stem from two things: poor direction, and a rushed schedule.

If you want proof, go to your local department store's underwear section. I suspect Isabella is a 36-C or 38-C. The number is the inches of the ribcage at the breastbone and the letter is cupsize. There's the same amount of 34-As as 38-Cs. The larger sizes tend to be further in the back, as they have heavier straps and boning for support.

She's got decent muscle definition in her arms and legs, and muscle, while it takes up less space, weighs more than fat.
If she's average height (5'4" or so), she's probably closer to 145 or 148 pounds, fighting weight. That's what I weighed when I did kickboxing classes.
