I thought the OP was concerned that celebrities would influence DLC, not add to the story.

For instance, this new DA DLC with Felicia Day originated from her and not Bioware. It was not a part of their story but something they went with because she was making a new web series based in their DA world.

So I can understand the OP's concern and would share it too.

I say, people worry way TOO much. It worked out alright and we got some good content out of it. Just relax because Bioware has more control than you think. I for one am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

The closest ME has ever gotten to anything like this is Lair of the Shadow Broker and Liara.

I dont think you need to worry here. Actually I think you are jumping the gun a little (or a lot actually).

I would also add that Claudia Black's character was an integral part of the main game as well. I don't know if I'd catagorize that as "celeb dlc".
