Hello

I thought i would post this on here, just in case theres a spoiler answer. After the garden party you sneak through the castle and reach the vault, you then have to open the gates .I get the gates open to the vault and it auto-saves. In each corner theres a chest, one with a love poem on that your supposed to pick up .I get to this chest, but your unable to loot the chest and poem unless you stand on the floor plate, but once you do this the gates to the vault door come down and your then unable to open them again. Also even though the other chesst sparkles and you get the loot icon, as soon as you go near it it stops.

I spent the last 2 hours, trying to re-open the doors ..reloading the game to see if it happens every time (it does)

If i ignore the love poem I can continue on, but this would mean I missed the poem (side q, but its still part of the game ).

You can continue on without it, but yes, you will miss a side quest. It is possible to get around that bug (try triggering the plates from start to finish again, beginning at the first two), but if you've spent two hours on it I'd seriously move on.

I managed to solve this "bug" by making the other character step into the opposite plate in front of the chest. Try having both characters step in front of each chest and then loot with each on their respective chests. This worked for me and I hope it works for you. I felt frustrated as well.

Was not a bug..looks like i had not tried standing in front of Both chests,.. sure i had.... but soon as you do, doors open and you can loot the 2nd chest ...Doh!
