Examples:Universal ammo in Deus Ex:Invisible war.  Level scaling in oblivion.

Inb4 multiplayer. The worst idea I seen and played is Final Fantasy 13, my first time playing a Jrpgs and put me off completely. Their combat style sucks, or very very feminine male characters, Hope Esthiem? I would kill the ****er if if had the chance or very very girly characters like Vanille, my god why do they always smile?

- Ability to breaking up everything in Star Wars: the Force Unleashed
- All bi in DA2
- Oblivion / Shutting down the hell gates (made me stop playing for second time)
- StarCraft II / not enough maps (Is it count?)
- Deus Ex / Upgrading yourself!
- Asari as monosexual species in Mass Effect (Doesn't make sense - considering Theory of Evolution)

Level scaling and xp system in Oblivion.

Co-op in Resident Evil 5.

Romances in Bioware games.

Earning ice time in NHL 12. Yeah I can't get your achievements if you won't put on the powerplay even when I lead the league in goals and points.

No, the HUD in TooHuman was fine, the appalling level design was ****ing terrible, it was like I was on repeat oh and the dying, my god the dying was just...more painful than trying killed by a Ganado from Resident evil 4 with the chainsaw.

This Ultimate Team crap in the EA Sports games. So, wait, I have to play this mode a TON in order to unlock enough currency to buy the damn packs (which is the ONLY way to get better, that or pay overpriced prices for the player you want) OR you pay ACTUAL money for the packs, and you may get a terrible pack with worth nothing players.

Terrible, terrible idea. But yet it's so popular.

Most cutscenes. That probably seems too generic, but cutscenes rarely take into account characters that are sneaking or invisible and they generally trigger set piece battles.

I really like games that allow a character to try to sneak across the entire map and back.

Retroactive fetch quests in DA2 (where some random person on the street suddenly gives you gold and you have no idea what it's for)

Multiplayer/co-op added to a single player rpg series. Worst ones I've seen so far is Fable 2 and 3. The bugs and game breaking problems they cause.

Retcon of ME1's ammo system by adding Ammo clips in ME2 and making it so Shepard somehow knows what an ammo clip is when he/she had died before they had been invented yet.

Having to use the sixaxis controller to fly a dragon in LAIR. It was a nice idea in theory, but absolutely blew in practice.
