I purchased all of the neverwinter night 2 series about 4 years ago I want to say. MoW and SoZ both via fileplanet and I have had no issues recovering them and re-downloading. Unfortunately the computer I had the email's with the original game and mask of the betrayer saved on died. Currrently I am trying to find out where to retrieve the games and cd keys at. I checked out atari and can not find previous games. From what I remember they simply emailed cd code and a link to download them. Also cannot find the original website the had the different x-pacs listed on the bottom that linked you to there individual webpages.
I already have a hard copy of the original NW2 but is there any way to retrieve the MotB or am I just screwed and have to re-purchase. Really just want it for multiplayer

Take a look on Steam.
Fully patched (you'll be thankful) and a source that you know will still be around in a few years to download it from again should you ever need to.
Pretty cheap as well.

CD Keys should be on the old bioware forums, but some hackers attacked it and bioware / EA has not restored what was running yet. They state they are intending on getting that all back up, but it's been a while. The cd keys i think are on a sticker in your manual.
Steam has it fully patched for as low as $10 when on sale, lot less trouble too. I think you have to do some extra work to get the cdkeys working right for MP ( pretty simple but you'll have to google it )

dunno, but somehow i can't believe this story any longer. bioware dropped support for the legacy boards and it was just a matter of time before they were fully closed. a hack attack is a nice cover for such a made-up story

@nwn2: yeah, better rebuy it from steam and get the fully patched edition with the 2 expansions. should be much less hassle than asking around for a lost cd key.

I wouldn't say "know". Technically, I believe Steam is under no obligation to do basically anything, they have one of those sucky legal things. I still probably wouldn't pass up the opportunity just due to paranoia, though (well, I might, but they *are* out to get me).NWN DM wrote...
