I don't want to read too much into that picture because compressing it may have changed things...

... but your text in the chat box is incomplete.  If it actually looks like that while playing, I'd say you're looking at a resolution problem.

Somehow I managed to solve the problem. How? I just toggled the window option and then "TADAH", there goes my characters. I don't know why I still need to do that but I'm just happy that I can move forward again.

For everyone who shared their opinions and tried to help me, THANK YOU. If ever I encounter another problem. I am sure to ask for your advice again. You guys are the best. THANK YOU AGAIN.
