We don't really solve anything here as such; for the most part we give suggestions and the player can try them to see if it works for them. Often they do, sometimes they don't.

A similar problem occurred for someone else recently but there has yet to be a follow up to that; I suspect there isn't a 'fix'. Personally I have the Equalizer pack on my screen missing though I haven't purchased it; it's still on the XBox Live marketplace though.

First thing I would suggest is that you check in the game itself to see if the module are recognised by the game; if not you will have to redownload. This of course assumes that you have downloaded them; and if you haven't that will be the thing you'll need to do for obvious reasons.

The ellipses don't mean anything as such; it's just representative of a blank space. The only options on the registered game promos screen, for me at least, are 'download' or 'more info'. When neither are available in stands to reason that there are no clickable options there.

My own response to the case I experienced is to shrug my shoulders. But that's just me.

However, your response doesn't indicate whether you actually have a problem. Let me phrase it as follows: can you access the game content? If you can, then I wouldn't worry so much about it not showing in some menu screen. If you can't, then continue to seek out why that may be the case.

The registered game promos aren't always the best indicators of available content either; I bought all the DAO dlcs on XBox Live marketplace but none of them show up on my registered game promos tab. *Shrugs*

If you're entitled to Kasumi and Overlord, you should be able to sign into the Xbox Live site and que them up for download there. Then when you turn on your Xbox they'll start downloading.

Kasumi: http://marketplace.x...cf-0012454108ce

Overlord: http://marketplace.x...cf-0013454108ce

Once you're signed in, it should look like this:

Seeing the number of people Janus has helped on the boards here I have to admit I take exception to that tone you are using vaan. The advice is well meant, and if EA support has managed to entitle you properly then it should be connected with your Gamertag which in theory should mean it's connected to XBox Live as well. To me what your next action is should be clear.

Then maybe you shoulod just contact ea support, because clearly we don't have the "magic solution" you're looking for.

That indeed would be the next step (apology was good too). What we gamers can do to assist each other is limited (usual suggestion is reload as far as I'm concerned). EA support should have all the answers. ('Should' being the key word there.)

Out of curiosity, how did you get entitlements to those two DLC? Typically you have to go through Xbox Live and pay for those.

There is one other idea I had, but I'm not sure if it would work. It's a long shot. There are actually 2 ways to access the list of DLC.

1) At the main menu there is an option for "New Content Available"
2) At the main menu there is an option for "Extras" followed by "Downloadable Content"

Have you tried both of those?

I would also add something to that particular suggestion, Janus.

From my experience with the Equalizer pack: I do not set the game to log into the EA servers automatically. When I go into either list of content, that dlc appears as it should. Once I log into the servers the Equalizer pack disappears from the list. I've always been puzzled by that, but as I stated above I just shrug. Taking that as a possibility I think something similar is at play with vaan's case.

If indeed EA entitled you to those dlcs, and it is curious as Janus points out, support should be able to give you a code so you can redeem it in order to download. Now I think about it...go into your registered game content and see what is actually entitled to you. I have a suspicion that EA support may have only entitled you to the PC version hence the inability to download anything.

That is really weird. Vaan could try disabling Cerberus Network logon (Extras> Options > Online) and then restart to see if it'll appear for him. But I would think he'd need to be connected to the cerberus network for it to recognize that he's entitield to it, which would put him in a Catch 22 situation.  :pinched:

That's a good point! Although vaan claims that EA granted him "15 other DLC" so it'd be odd for them to just scew just those two up. And even if they did screw them up and granted him the PC entitlements, you'd think they'd still be there in the DLC list in-game so that he could purchase them. I don't own Genesis, but it's still in the list of DLC for me.

One other piece of info with my experience with the Equalizer pack is that according to my registered game promos page is that I am entitled to it. And no, I never purchased it from XBox Live marketplace; for some reason one day it just showed up as being one of those dlcs I'm entitled to. It is the only dlc that disappears for me, all others are still there after logging on. This is why I suspect something similar is at play with vaan's case. When logged into the EA servers that dlc I am entitled to, but did not purchase, disappears. As such it denies the user from downloading. Yet on XBox Live the dlc is there, but it shows as unpurchased; and to download one must purchase it using Microsoft points. As I understand it, XBox Live does not recognize a redeem code as a purchase; so one cannot redownload via the usual 'download' button (can go into download history which does recognize your right to the dlc).

It's a very odd situation. I might even contact EA support myself one day to see if something can be done about it. I just can't be bothered.

Also...never underestimate the oddities, to put it mildly, of certain support personnel. *Cough* Would still persist in trying to find the one person who is good at their job.

It sounds like you are having the exact same issue. I take it you have never been able to download the Equalizer Pack then?

Never bothered trying, Janus. It's not a problem for me, but I see the similarity of the case and never pursued a solution. My belief is that it is only something EA support can rectify. *Shrugs again*

I have wanted to post a thread to see if anyone has mysteriously become entitled to dlcs (360 specific of course, and perhaps even PS3) they didn't purchase though. :P

That sounds like EA support entitled you to dlc that the code didn't originally entitle you to. My guess is the code that you referred to is for the Cerberus Network, which is a specific set of dlcs and doesn't include Kasumi or Overlord.

It is confusing, but I am still of the opinion that an EA support person could have a code, or codes, generated which then allows you to access those dlcs to download. (I've seen cases where they have given out codes for certain dlcs, so it is possible.) Perhaps you could suggest that to EA support. Short of that, I'm not entirely certain what could be done (nothing from our end that's for certain).

I have a theory. From the list below, were any of these gifted to you, and if so were you able to download them successfully?

Alternate Appearance Pack 1 (Garrus, Thane, Jack)
Alternate Appearance Pack 2 (Tali, Grunt, Miranda)
Equalizer Pack
Firepower Pack
Aegis Pack
Shadow Broker
Arrival

OK, I think I figured it out. You're not going to like the answer, but here it is.

There are essentially 2 categories of ME2 DLC.

Type 1 is free. These are obtained through the cerberus network, preorder bonuses, and promotions. Once these are registered to your EA account you download these via Cerberus Network within the game.

Zaeed - The Price of Revenge
Normandy Crash Site
Firewalker Pack
Cerberus Weapon and Armor
Cerberus Arc Projector
Collectors' Weapon and Armor
Inferno Armor (Original Preorder Version)
Terminus Weapon and Armor
Blood Dragon Armor
Umbra Visor
Sentry Interface
Recon Hood

Type 2 costs money / MS Points. The following DLC requires you to go around the Cerberus network and actually purchase them via Xbox live. Once you've purchased them via XBox live not only are they registered on your EA account but also with your Xbox live account. This is why I was so confused when you said that you couldn't download them from Xbox Live without paying for them.

Alternate Appearance Pack 1 (Garrus, Thane, Jack)
Alternate Appearance Pack 2 (Tali, Grunt, Miranda)
Equalizer Pack
Firepower Pack
Aegis Pack
Kasumi - Stolen Memory
Overlord
Shadow Broker
Arrival

So it sounds to me like someone at EA registered Kasumi and Overlord to your EA account thinking they would work like the other DLC you got. And even though the DLC is registered to your EA account, they're not registered on the Xbox live side, prohibitting you from downloading them. I doubt EA has the ability to circumvent XBL and grant you these, which means you're probably resigned to paying for them if you want access to them.

Sorry, but look on the bright side, you got the Terminus gear, and you can't get that anymore for the Xbox since it was a Gamestop preorder promotion. The Collector gear is also pretty rare outside of the digital deluxe edition since I imagine most people have used the card that came with their game.

Yep, sounds like EA support didn't know how the dlc works for consoles (of the opinion they think everyone is on PC).

It's why I suggested that an EA support person would have to generate a code in order for you to download. It is possible as one thread in the DAO tech board confirms (that user had the Ultimate Edition but since they don't have an HDD they couldn't install from disc, but can download things from XBox Live; the person they spoke to gave them codes to download the dlcs); and it seems to be the only possible way around it. Again, the problem is whether the person you're in contact with knows how to do that, or willing to do that.
