Without saying anything about the actual story, could someone recommend the best party to go into this DLC with, in order to get the most out of the story?

Well like most I chose people who had to deal with Orlais. The party members that got the most out of this was Aveline and Isabela, due to them having their own uniques quests. As well as the banter between them in certain cutscenes.

every one gets there own quest and unlike in Legacy where if you have Varric or Anders you get 3 special cutscenes and additions companion accessories thoght they still have party dialogue and small comments on occasion where as in Mark of the Assassin the made it so you get just as much form bringing one set of people to another the all get special items form there individual companion quests so its really all about how your playing and who your favorite characters are to have I personally don't go any where with out Varric
