I was just replaying MotA when I heard Aveline read that small scroll piece found in the black vial. It's rather obvious that it's one of the black vials that released a Revenent in DA:O. The one thing that I found most interesting, however, is the mention of "She of the Red." The only person or persona that fits this description is currently Red Jenny. What do you guys think?

I'm still not clear on the sequence of events for this. So, there's a guy in the duke's prison with a tattoo of the du Lac crest, after Aveline and her father move to ferelden. He's carrying one of the black vials, which has a ring in it and points to something beneath du Lac (a place?) and somebody who might be related to Aveline and might be Red Jenny. Tallis says the black vials are made by demon hunters, or people who mimic them. The moral: revenants are still scary. Did I miss anything, or is this foreshadowing for future Aveline shenanigans?

The only thing i could think of "she of the red" wa red jeeny considering how mysterious she was in DAO and still is in the DA universe.

I wonder if it wasn't just a reference to being red headed?

The Red Jenny was the first thing that popped up in my mind when Aveline read that note.
But I was really confused by that quest. Was Avelines father still playing the game even when he told her he left Orlais because of this? Was somebody just acting in his name?

It could have been someone that knew Aveline's father. Or it could have been another organization that her father belonged to and this other person was merely another member. Or hell, it could have been Aveline's uncle or something of that sort.

Reminded me of Red Jenny as well. But if there was a Red Benny, that'd probably be the first thing to come to mind too. I mean if you have RED in your name, and it's "She of the Red."

I first thought of Red Jenny as well. What's up with all the black vials anyway?

It's quite annoying, interesting, but more bewildering than informative.
