 So there appears to be some romantic hinting between Seb and Bethany in both MotA and Legacy.



Is this a prelude to Bioware implementing romances between companions?   I know there was some winky winky between Fenris and Isabela too.

I for one would enjoy seeing this.  It would certainly add more depth to the characters.

Although it kinda sucks that I spared Anders and Seb ran away to form an army to kill all the mages.  That might hurt his relationship with Bethany.

Yea I think they're going to do that too.

Before I knew they thought of it first, I was going to do that for my fanfic on Hawke. I still am, but now I don't feel as awesome for feeling like I came up with an original non-Bioware idea.

Even if she is my sister, I support the Sebastian/Bethany pairing. Or should that be Sebethany?

I wonder what it would mean if your with the love interest your sibling likes? Would it just not happen or would they try and persue it anyway.. Carver seems the sort

I love how the Sebastian/Bethany scene has completely different animations and camera-work to all the other possible pairings in that scene.

In my current playthrough I romanced Anders just so Fenris and Isabela would get together. Of course I slept with them both first.

Nah, Carver is disappointed, but he doesn't try to steal Merrill away.

At OP: I laughed so hard the first time I saw that on my Sebastian Rivalmancer run. I think that was the scene that made me laugh the hardest of the rescue moment scenes.

...although that Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast is also a possibility for Varric as well.  I mean you could see that she totally almost considered thinking about smiling at him once for about a half a second.

I loved the whole Bethany "So, you're a prince? Oh my..." Thing in Legacy. It seems like it is important that the NPCs appear to have lives and desires of their own, other than just existing purely to please Hawke Same thing with the Fenris / Isabella thing.

Hmm I would hate it if bethany turned her eyes in someone so.. pathetic.. really sebastian.. pff..

I think she would be well enough with someone like Keran, Macha seems in favor of Mages and I see Keran as a very good young man even after what he goes thru.. yea I would hate to see bethany involve with that deserter. This is why bioware have to check players choices and not make up things that make no sense.. at all.
Even if bethany is with Sebastian my hawke is going to kill him, sorry.. deserters/betrayers are dead meat in my dragon age.. just ask Loghain.. wait he is DEAD.

I ship Carver with Isabela. Like burning. Carver and Merrill? Eh, it's cute, but let's be honest, could you really approve of her for your little bro? She's dangerous in an entirely different way than Isabela. And it's not the good way.

And I don't want to talk about how I feel about Isabela/Fenris.

LOVED the "lucky B" line, though. It gave me a squee (along with Hawke's "Sebastian, you aren't going to leave me for the Qunari?" and Sebastian's "NEVER." response.)
