Today at New York Comic Con I was able to get up close and personal with the final version of Kotobukiya's Liara bishoujo figure designed by Shunya Yama****a and this figure is quite stunning in person. They've also listened and made quite a few changes: her breasts are now smaller and less in your face and more natural, her face is more mature, and the markings on her head are now identical to her in game markings. This looks far better to me than the last picture I saw. The face still seems a it off, but at least it lost that creepy baby-like vibe. Overall, this is a VAST improvement over the very first images shown, IMO.

I'm still very "meh" on this one, but at least they appear to have (significantly) cut down on the ridiculous breasts.

Otherwise, she looks too school-girly and generally "manga" for my tastes, but I'm sure there are plenty of anime fans who will dig this one a lot. Overall, very nicely rendered piece, for what it is.

Now... how about a new series of ME3 action figures? That I'd buy without hesitation.

Slightly less hideous, but still hideous. It's a shame, since I've been waiting for a Liara statue for years. Why they decided to go with this style is beyond me. I won't be buying it.
