Demiurge Studios for the PC port

I honestly don't care if the game's release was pushed back a couple months (look how long PCers had to wait for ME1) as long as BioWare recognizes that the PC version needs some TLC and makes Mass Effect 3 for PC feel like it's a PC game rather than a port.

Let us:
- Access the squad/codex using the keyboard
- Access weapons using F1-F4
- Let us have more than 50 saves! (ME2 was a long game!)
- Right click to exit planet screens
- holster weapons with H or something
None of it is crucial, but everything above would be great if added. (Also trivial to implement, no?)
Will edit and add more. And while we're on the topic of PC ports, for heavens sake, do not make ME3 checkpoint-save only. Thank you for reading.

Um...you COULD holster your weapon in ME2...and the mouse wheel changed your weapon, so why do you need keys?

I don't think its too late to make keybinding suggestions - they still have 5 months of development left. would have to be done in house for sure though.

You mean press the same key on ME3 to holster your weapons, as you did in ME2?
Wow, who'da thunk that was possible on these newfangled thingamewatsits.

They aren't needed. They're convenient. For instance, that mouse wheel you mentioned? That wasn't needed either because you could just use the HUD, right?

So that I can change to the sniper rifle without having to cycle through the assault rifle and shotgun. Like you can in every other shooter. Including ME1.

How is it more convenient to move your hand two rows up on the keyboard, when you can move your finger a quarter of an inch? That's hardly more convenient...
...however, I can understand it somewhat if you're trying to get to say weapon 4 whe you're on weapon 2. That makes sense, i didn't think about that.

That's the convenient part.

Ooh, sarcasm.
You're right, it was there in ME2. The F1-F4 weapon switch was there in ME1, it disappeared in ME2; as did the keys for codex/squad. Who'da thunk they'd remove it?

And the journal. And (this time for obvious reasons) inventory. But...they did add quick load.

It is much more convenient, because all computer games are built with the mechanism of switching toggles by using the number row, not the mouse wheel. Nobody cares about the mouse wheel becase nobody uses the mouse wheel to play games. Seriously. You cannot win this argument.EternalAmbiguity wrote...

I use the mousewheel to change weapons on occasion.

It would probably help to clarify that a "port" of a game refers to an existing game being adapted to a new platform.
Since this game is being developed for all the announced platforms at the same time, none of the versions can be called a "port".
