A recent news has revealed that hackers are warning blizzard to stop it with theri DRM scheme.

The hacker claimed that even those who bough the game will download his crack.

In case you dont know, if you get diablo 3, you cant pause the game at all, blizzard claims its for using tyou character in online play, but that is utter crap. everyone plays d3 at least a few times, even if not they will make a battle.net only character if they wanted to go with online option only. the only reason Blizzard is doing that is to prevent anyone from cracking the game. but this guy said that their method is a joke and that he will crack it unless they stop it with the DRM crap.

I personally dont care much, but no pausing in game is a little absurd. and btw you all know what the new DRM means right? it means NO MODDING capabilities. so yeah . . . have fun playing the same game for the next 10 years. lol.

Here is the source to the original article in case you want to read exactly what the hacker said. (its in the quotes)
Hackers Warn Diablo 3 “The new DRM won’t stop us”

Notes:
DRM is the whole "CD-Key" and authentication thing, for example if you
are not online you cant play assassing creed 2 or diablo 3, if you go
offline you loose save games and crap like that.

for dragon age,
its the login that we do in the begining of the game. which is fine,
since its a onetime thing. but not being able to pause . . . what the
hell

A crack is made to remove that process.

Since this discussion appears to be a violation of our Site rule #7 (no topics of an illicit or illegal nature), I'm going to shut it down. Discussion of a case DRM (in this case, a hacker making threats based on DRM) is fine, but when the discussion gets to the point of advocating, suggesting, or encouraging software piracy or bypassing DRM, that crosses a line in this community. Sorry.

End of line.
