I've now completed this DLC twice, but did not get this Deep Green ring I was promised.
Bioware even emailed my a flyer stating "Download and play Mark of the Assassin before Oct. 26th, and unlock a powerful new ring, The Deep Green.*"
 
But so far, no ring....(not in my registered game content either)

It was easy to miss. I just wanted to point out where I had found it (when I was wondering how the heck to get that ring myself ).

I still can't get mine because the damned page doesn't recognise my achievements. It might be because I have DA2 on PC and PS3, and it's only checking my PC achievements not the PS3 ones (which is what I played MotA on).

Interesting - the page tells me to "activate online profiles" but nothing happens when I click it.

OK - what am I doing wrong - words of one syllable please...

Try this:

1) start DA2 and log into your EA/Bioware account (make sure you the option to upload your game data is enabled)
2) load any save
3) move Hawke around a bit, then save the game
4) exit DA2 and check your profile on BSN to make sure MotA achievements have uploaded successfully.
5) now try redeeming the ring

It solved the problem for me, so maybe it'll help others as well.

My achievements have still not uploaded

Maybe this is a stupid question, but I have the ring installed, but where is it in my game? It says to go to my delivery box, but my PT's have all been post campaign thus far. Is that why I can't find it in the game?

It's because you have the console activated.  You need to de-activate it before they will upload.

The ring will be in the delivery box in the estate or Gamlen's house, depending on where you're at and/or launching DLCs from. So if you're done playing MotA, it will be in the estate for your next DLC venture. Or if you run a different PC through the campaign, you should be able to get it from the box before you head out.

One liiiiitle detail.. For the PC version, DA2 will not upload your achievements if you start the game with the Developer console enabled. Once you start without it enabled, your acheivements will be uploaded to the BSN.

It could take an hour or more for them to update on your DA2 profile here, theres no real way to know until they appear here.

My mother always told me I was "special" but until today, I did not know what she meant.

I followed Shiori's advice - but where on your "Profile" page do you find "Achievements?" Never bothered looking at them before, and when I scrolled down through the list of options on the profile page, nothing seemed linked to "achievements."

Anyways, I checked to make sure that my DA2 game was supposed to upload info, loaded a game, ran around, saved, exited and looked on the "content" page and again, saw nothing.

Could be I am just blind, ignorant or stupid - but I admit I am unused to navigating this site. Can anyone help me find my "achievements?" And after that, can someone walk me to where the little bus stops?

Start the game without the console enabled, load a game, save it, wait 2-3 minutes, close the game and wait for the BSN to update. Thats it.

In the menu to the left, hover on:

Click on:
../../../images/icons/bw_games/dragonage2_16.png Dragon Age II - PC

On the next page, under the Dragon Age II graphic, you will see:

Characters | Achievements | Unlocks

Click on the obvious.
