If you are playing on a Game Console, disregard, You don't have access to the "developer console" (command line to enter script commands)

Sunnie - thanks for the help - but on MY page, there is nothing under the DA2 graphic - just a link beside it that says "activate online profile" which I have repeatedly clicked.

I started a DA2 game from the main menu (without console enabled) and loaded a save game, let it run for a few minutes and then exited.

Came back here, and tried to "activate" that profile page and still, nada, zilch, zero...

My wife though says she didn't marry me for my brains...

According to my 'Your registered game content' page the Deep Green is - for the PC at least - a downloadable .EXE file rather than an ingame unlock, like Evra's Trophy Belt.

I confirmed I had the 'A New Day' achievement (getting Tallis to join your party) and then checked my Character Profile. At first it hadn't updated Hawke with the level he'd gained in MotA but eventually (after a few moments) the profile updated and then when I checked the MotA Bonus Item page I had a button marked 'Check Your Entitlement Status' (which wasn't there before Hawke's Profile updated. Clicked that and it said "Success! The Deep Green has been entitled to your account. You can find the item, and instructions on how to access it in-game, on the registered game content page." As I say, there I found a link for the Deep Green for PC that says:

To manually download your new content on the PC:

• Download the package from the link below and install it.
• Run Dragon Age II.
• Please ensure you log in with the same account you used on the social website.
• Start a new game or load an existing one.
• Follow the instructions in the game journal.

I still don't see Deep Green in my Unlocks screen but then I haven't uploaded it to my game yet, so I expect that will change once I do that. Anyway, I hope that helps any PC players baffled by this.

YOu need to get that profile activated first. if it is not activating, you may need to contact EA Tech support to fix it.

If you have an activated profile on the BSN for DA2, you will get to the following page:



here is where you can see your characters, achievements, and the in-game unlocks (as well as the last time the profile was updated).
I have no idea how it works for CBox 360, but I assume it would be the same, though updated might be a little more complicated due to CBox Live.

When you click on the Games tab on the top nav bar, you should see this:

Click on the Activate link to do that.

Can it be, that I hold in my mortal hand, a ring of purest green?

By which I mean, after my three main characters have already finished MotA (and the rest of the game) I finally realized I've been missing this ring and went through the faff of uploading my achis (didn't realize the console prevented uploading) and downloading it. I have to wait until the next DLC before I can use it though.

I'm not quite ready to play through the entire MotA yet, so my question is "Which achievement is the quickest to go through to get the ring before Oct. 26th?"

Really looking forward to playing it in my own slow-paced time, but it appears I have a time limit set to get the Deep Green ring, no?

Making it through the ambush and having Tallis join your party at the Dukes Estate gives the first achievement, I believe.

Thanks Sunnie and Demos.

Eventually, my profile updated and I was able to follow Demos example and links to download the file.

But honestly, it was not, at least to me, a straight forward process - for example, I did not even know that I was supposed to update my profile - I assumed that when I registered it would have done that automatically.

And then, there is nothing on the profile page that would lead me directly to the right links.

But thanks to you guys, I was able to get the ring - thanks a lot, sincerely. It's great to meet helpful folks.

Try this:

1) start DA2 and log into your EA/Bioware account (make sure you the option to upload your game data is enabled)
2) load any save
3) move Hawke around a bit, then save the game
4) exit DA2 and check your profile on BSN to make sure MotA achievements have uploaded successfully.
5) now try redeeming the ring

It solved the problem for me, so maybe it'll help others as well.
