If anyone is having trouble activating their online profile on the PC, make sure you have the game running while clicking "activate profile". That was the only way for me to activate it. I tried clicking that link several days in a row to no effect before I found that tip on this forum.

I am curious to the people who play the dlc after 26th. I bought the dlc already, but due to a dashboard issue, MS told me not to earn any achievements until they fix the problem, now this problem could and most likely last til the new dashboard update, which means no xbox til November, I do hope I could still unlock the ring in November.

This is strange. I got the achievement and it is listen in "Your registered game content" but it does not show up in the game and is not listed in "Unlockables". Why?

Scratch that. I wasn't signed in to the server. Sometimes it doesn't sign in by it self, don't know why.

If you re-try the link now it should work, Jesse Houston has been working on it, just got mine unlocked.
Also, there isn't an actual cut-off date, that was just legal-stuff they had to put on the publicity

Edit to add: there was a problem with some accounts with multiple platforms registered apparently, that's fixed now. I have PC and XBox registered and is fine now.

It's a separate DLC you have to install. It is not an item you get in-game.

So fun to have it after I played the game. What the heck I am supposed to do with it anymore? I am not going to replay MotA again because of it.

You can use it on other characters not just 1 that has gone through MOTA.

Its available in the special delivery chest if you roll another character.

I have no interest in re-playing the game nor MotA. Those three times with different characters were painful enough.

Indeed, very strange phenomenon this: people categorically hating DA2 but can't stay away from the forums.
Doesn't make sense to me.

And then stating that playing DA2 is so painful. Just stop playing it you dummy!

I have Hawke maybe because it is the latest DA game I bought before I joined this forum? I am also hanging around here to voice my disapointment over the game. We do not want fanboys to rule the feedback, now do we?! And I am not playing DA2 anymore so thats why I cannot use the ring, thats the reason I was complaining in the first place.

Hi all. I have registered my Xbox copy of Dragon Age 2 and completed the MotA achievement but still can't activate my profile to claim my Deep Green Ring. I've tried a number of the solutions suggested in this thread (even swearing & cursing at it!) With the deadline for completion tomorrow, does anyone have someone I can get in contact with to sort this out?

Its free. You're no longer playing. Unless you are some sort of completist and want every item your whining has no credibility since you are are no longer playing.

I didn't think the game was a 10 either but I played the DLC which was an improvment over the game.

In principle, it's the same as they did in Origins with those items that you got after gaining some of the DLC achievements.

It's just beyond asinine that they can't figure it out without you visiting some dorky hidden page (how is a normal person even supposed to know to go there?) and that they couldn't include the ring module in the MotA archive so it'd be there for you as soon as it unlocked.
