Have a question for you guys. I haven't gotten really far into the game so I thought I'd get the ring, make a new character and have the ring available for leveling. I have gotten MotA and the first achievement. Ring successfully downloaded and installed. Created a new character, went all the way to the special deliveries box at Gamlen's house and it wasn't there. Do I need to beat MotA for it to show up or something else?
Hmm quick edit - I checked my unlockables and voila..Wasn't installed. Logged out, exited, and reinstalled. Reopened the game, logged back in and there it was.. Answered my own question.. Awesome!

I'm glad that was done. Thank you. I bought MotA and never knew this existed til today. I hope that more promotional items will be given more notice in the future.

Yeah, but they can (and do) query the achievements server-side. So why not just give the entitlement to everyone who has an MotA achievement?
The Origins DLC that had achievement-based unlocks worked just fine that I'm aware of. You didn't have to follow the breadcrumbs to some secret, shady hack-a-page.
It's not enough that it just plain works. It should work well. And in this instance, they've completely failed to meet that standard.

well I am just crap out of luck I just learned about the ring this week and just bought the pack, but mu computer is down. And I havent even started the game yet. I am still playing the first one. I thought the ring was part of buying the pack or I would have waited. Now I am just made. I wont get my computer up and running until after the 1st and will not get to finish the first one until after that.

Nice. I only just got around to playing MotA (mainly to make sure I unlocked this before Nov 1--been busy playing Arkham City). Only unlocked the first MotA achievement by meeting Tallis, but I checked on here and the Deep Green showed up in my account no problem.

Oh never mind, I thought maybe it was like some of the other content in DAO and was able to just start it, but since I havent even played DA2, I am not going to be able to get the ring at all. I thought I was getting it with the content as a bonus. guess next time I just wait until I am at that content and then get it.

@ dubya I would have thought they could have just made it more known. I guess the ring was a test to see how many watched bioware tv and caught the promo. I did get the ring due to your link as you were the only one talking about it. I would have thought Chris would have made a dev link reminder to MotA players to collect there ring. I think it was set up to only be for ones keeping up on mota news. I want to say thanks for getting it out there.
