Well, it was also implied Cailan might have been shooting blanks. He slept around a lot, but apparently never sired any illegitimate children. It's about as conclusive as "a woman hasn't concieved by age twenty-nine; she must clearly be infertile!"

There's also the added problem that Anora is not a Theirin, the only men she eventually marries are both Grey Wardens and thus infertile, and if she is not set up with either, she never marries again, a la Elizabeth I.

I imagine the powers that be at Bioware will give Ferelden a new Theirin child. Hell they could even have Anora and Alistair (or Anora and the Warden) use a Chasind Fertility Carving and a Rivaini Fertility talisman for good luck!

maybe Morrigan could teach them a few tricks. The DR seemed to guarantee a child would be made in the sex itself.

I thought it was confirmed that GW's aren't infertile when it comes to conciving with non-wardens, just it's next to impossible for two wardens to sire a child together. I remember there being a big thread and probably many others dealing with that subject where David confirmed what I said above. Infertile is not the same thing as sterile, but it still does no favors for a royal dynasty. Marrying a Grey Warden is a risky affair when there's an expectation for an heir.

I actually kind of hope the Theirin line dies out, and a new house takes over (Cousland or Guerrin preferably), signalling a new era for Ferelden. Or better yet, an intermarriage between both houses.

I like the examples above. I've always thought that Celene would have long, curly black hair. Probably sharp grey eyes too.

If you tell Anora to marry Alistair whilst your Warden is in a romance with him, Anora asks if you intend to be his mistress. If you choose 'yes', Anora will say that she is used to that sort of thing from Cailan. There maybe other examples, but I only know of that one.
