Disregard for one's personal appearance.

I am quite manly in this regard.

A closet full of guns, a truck to pull things with, and a Couch to think on.

Least thats what GTA VC public news radio told me.

The ability to fight for his beliefs, the ability to protect what he holds dear and the ability to stand alone, on his own.

That is maybe the best way I can explain it in one sentence.

I agree with this. Also nicely said. :)

The ability to be ****ed at for an hour solid and never hear one frigging word.
A deep almost instinctual derision for dancing, please Allfather cripple me before I get to the dancefloor.
Embarrassment when made an object of attention.
The ability to keeps ones lip buttoned and not ******, moan, weep and whine about every little thing.
A hatred for those who fall about doing so every nano second.
Finding a little peace and satisfaction in ones daily trip to the khazi.
The urge upon seeing pretty men to smash your fist into their fragile little noses or reach out and snap their frail pencil necks.
A growing hatred and irritation for everything and everybody on earth.
The list you keep.
Acting like a prat when in the presence of beautiful women.
Pride in all your scars and battle wounds.
At least ten minute contemplation per day on the subject of where all the crap in your belly button comes from.
Arousal when in the presence of ale, pork scratchings and pickled eggs.
Oh and come monday mornings return to work smelling of beer, strippers, clap cream and red meat.

When he is not a Woman.

There are many forms/types of man, some are good, honest and hard working; some are bad, mean and vindictive; but they are still men.

That made me a teenager. I was made a man later by courage and braveness and by slaying the dragon in my garden. Later, I became more than just a man when I was feliciatated. What is more greater than being a man? I know not but it's more manly. It's like being 100 men!

Doing what is right always. Doing right when it earns you praise, but most especially, doing right when it earns you scorn.

Edit:

Also, a man is the very best in the world at something that matters.  Which is why I, personally, continue to fail.

The ability and willingness to build or destroy according to what the situation demands.

That and a fine woman.
