Was hoping someone could provide me with info on the filename/location of the expression mask/expression normal map texture files for DA2 characters.

Try the artfp package, in the core/data folder. Character/playercharacter/shared/textures or something along those lines; I'm pretty sure the mask is in there at least, though I'm not sure about the normal. It's named something really not-obvious IIRC, I came across it by accident when I unzipped every damn .dds file in there trying to find the spec map for the female face texture.
