Really? People have not yet put 2 and 2 together by now?

Of course BW delayed ME3 because of MP. And yes EA forced it down they're throats. Is everyone here that naive to even question such a thing? *looks at BSN logo* Oh.....

Mind you, you could be right.  But "could be" is a very different thing from "proven".

Mature response: Im being half sarcastic, don't take it at face value.

Common BSN response: Shut up, Im right and you know it! Want me to call Casey Hudson? I have him on speed dial!

Well the game was basically done nearly over a year ago. Its possible they have been polishing it and adding maybe a couple of finishing touches.

Not likely.

In fact, that's known to be completely false: do people not remember all those tweets recently about dialogue recording, or those about the writers working on this or that conversation? Or those about levels still going through the approval process? Everyone seems to think that "in a playable state" is exactly the same thing as "totally finished".

I expressed something similar as well regarding peoples confusion between "playable" and "releasable". A year ago ME3 may have definitely been playable but releasable? The tweets and quality of the trailers tell you a different story.

I think we should require all posts to follow this format from now on.

Too obvious. It needs to be something more orignal.

They're going to re-implement destroyable architecture, explain the physics behind sex in a weightless atmosphere (the romance scene will be just that), and help write season 9 of 24 wherein Jack Bauer launches into space to kill terrorists and save America thereby completing the circle they began 6 years ago.

Feel free to give us some actual facts, like how you came up with the 80% development time figure that multiplayer supposedly sucked up.

How about the simple idea that they want ME3 to be THE game on it's release date instead of one of MANY video games released before Christmas? I assume many of us are adults who can afford our own games and don't need mom and dad to buy it for us for Christmas.

It wasn't. It was tweeted (no, Im not looking for it!) a few months ago when the game reached it's peak, and then it was delayed for MP.

No, it was tweeted that ME3 reached final production.

I realise why EA would impose that on Bioware. But as a player and purchaser of ME2 and soon ME3 I won't even be using multiplayer.

I am angered by this decision, it's just red tape for me, but perhaps not for others.

Jack Bauer for s/s romance in ME3. That's why they held it up, so Keifer Sutherland can do the VA. I'm going to make a support thread up right now.

Actually, Brenon Holmes mentioned in one of his posts that they experimented with having a lot more destructible objects, and that it looked really awesome, but it just put too big a dent in performance.

How is the existence of non-mandatory co-op the equivalent of obstructive bureaucratic regulation?

My super-gay ManShep is in love with platinum-blonde FemShep and Garrus and he'll be voice commanding his squadmates via Kinect while playing multilpayer with Vega boy :police:

It makes as much sense as the bajillion other things just like it in pretty much any videogame ever.

A combination of game engine limitations and the oculus used up most of its power blasting its way into the hangar? Works for me.
