Actually, Brenon Holmes mentioned in one of his posts that they experimented with having a lot more destructible objects, and that it looked really awesome, but it just put too big a dent in performance.

Hope they fix this....

That makes perfect sense.

Problem? The inside of the ship is obviously more durable.^_^

The inside of the ship is also BIGGER than the outside of the ship.

A combination of game engine limitations and the oculus used up most of its power blasting its way into the hangar? Works for me.

Shepard brought back to life by unknown means that BW will never explain? Works for me.

Shepard blindly agreeing to work for TIM without player imput? works for me.

ME3 has MP even though 90% of fans don't want it? Works for- wai wha.....

Will the term "making it multiplayer/mmo" have the same connotations as 'jumping the shark' or 'nuking the fridge' in the future, but for games?

Calling it now.

When they weren't having sex, Grunt and Jack had nothing better to do in the hold than spend HOURS polishing all those desks and boxes and adding a durable clear coat for good measure.

It's amazing how much of his combat chatter fits with that....

"I AM KROGAN!"

"Impact Shot!"

"On the ground, now!"

etc.

And that's not even considering the non-verbal stuff....

The reason for that is obvious: It's a TARDIS!

Its was most likely because of the release of SWTOR so they won't divide the fan base and also because of the GOTY contender's (spelling) such as Skyrim and Uncharted 3

ME3 should have been released by now, if the developers would have sticked with the original release date. Could EA force Bioware to implement multiplayer in ME3? I think yes, because EA is greedy and hungry for cash. Thus we get the answer we need.
Do loyal SP fans suffer because of MP?
Hell yes they do! The game was done by Christmas already! MP took 80% of the dev. time.

Yes, EA was so greedy for cash that they delayed the game to implement another feature! How dare they!

I think this is perfectly explainable in an entirely rational manner.

It's quite evident that the Normandy SR2 is in fact the Tardis.

You're all missing it! Look at the Oculus thing before and after it enters the hull. It had to shed it's wings to fit inside! They obviously powered the laser.

Enh, what does some  "KungFuTurtle" know anyhow?  Well, I mean, other than kung fu, apparently.

Most likely MP has messed with the release date.

MP takes far more balancing time than SP does and will never truly get balanced. Will Bioware stay with this and keep the MP scene updated? If they don't want it to flop they will need to add more to the MP through DLC at a later date at the cost of more DLC for the SP.

FPS's don't have this problem since they don't care about the SP after you beat it and just maintain the MP.

In Chinese, kung fu can also be used in contexts completely unrelated to martial arts, and refers colloquially to any individual accomplishment or skill cultivated through long and hard work.

Damn these companies for trying to make money! Who else wants to cancel their pre-orders/boycott BioWare with me???!!!

But, no. The game was not done by Christmas; if you follow the Twitter thread, just a few weeks ago they were sitll tweaking powers and the like.

Plus, look at the fall line-up of games; ME3 would have some STIFF competition. Major games released in the fall/winter include Gears of War 3, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Halo Anniversay, Arkham City, Skyrim, Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3, The Old Republic...there's probably more I can't remember. But this is a big couple of months for gaming; why not wait a few months, and then release ME3 at a time with little competition? That's what I'd do.

Well apart from the fact that I can totally wait a little longer if it means getting a better game, I'd also have 0 issue if MP was the reason for it too, as that will keep me playing ME3 long after I've completed a dozen careers in the main game.

In my opinion, the other major factor in pushing back the release date of ME 3 was that Bioware told EA "We know you want it out for Christmas, but it won't be ready by then, and given the absolute trashing we've recieved over Dragon Age 2, we need a few more months to make SURE ME 3 is properly polished."

It's good that people keep mentioning DA2, because they dropped the ball with that one. It'll keep them on their toes to not make similar mistakes.

And I also think that adding multiplayer was a good idea to delay it. Because has anybody seen the review scores that Batman: Arkham City is getting? It's already being tipped as GOTY. And thats before Skyrim, UC3, MW3, BF3 has been released. As someone's already said, that's stiff competition, probably the best line up for a November in years.

While I've little doubt B: AC is going to be a great game, I don't put much stock in GOTY declarations.  Reviewers seem to make them at the drop of hat for any competently-made game.

No. The orignial release date was 12/31/2011. I wonder, if that were still the release date, would you still complain about having to wait 11 more weeks for it to come out?

I'm not actually that bothered. I watched the Multiplayer(Co-op). From what I said before I take back. The 4 player co-op missions sound great.
