I changed my mind. I was planning on getting this on PS3 on friday but then i saw that awesome deal on steam. If you own Arkham Asylum or lego batman (lol) then thats 20% off. 40 dollars instead of 60? Yes please.

Beat the game today.

The ending was EPIC. And heart wrenching.

I'd cuss hardcore if it wasn't against the rules.

You really don't need Catwoman to enjoy the game. She's a nice add on but I think you'll have fun with just Batman.

I watched 30 minutes of Andrew Reiner playing Arkham City

Looks like fun, but probably something I would pick up when it goes on sale for $10-15 at some point in 2012. The open world aspect is a major plus IMO, however.

From watching the video I got the impression Reiner gave it a perfect 10 score partly because he is such a super hardcore fan of the comics.

Pfft, this game is a definite Game of the Year candidate, let me tell you. Its THAT good. No bias involved, I promise.

And I want to promise you all that I will avoid spoiling anything for you, as it would be unfair and I wouldn't want the same done to me.

I will say this though-

The ending. Its heartbreaking. Its crazy good. Epic. Insane. Crazy ass plot twists.

And Rocksteady. Damn them. DAMN THEM FOR DOING SOMETHING VERY VERY EVIL BEFORE THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT. DAMN THEM TO HELL.

You must've just rushed through the story and ignored everything else.  I cant see myself doing it that way.  I'm doing sidemissions as I go along.  Probably spend a good time just exploring.

I did side missions too. Not all of them mind you, but a few here and there. Also got some Riddler Trophies, saved one of the hostages, etc etc.

Thing is, the main story is REAAAAALLY good. Its engrossing. Once you start, its hard to get off the main quest line.

So now that I've beaten the game, I have tons of stuff to do post-game. Unfinished side missions, tons of Riddler trophies, people to beat up, and after you beat the game you can even switch characters and have the entire map to Catwoman, so you can do her specific quests and pick up her Riddler Trophies.

So, the percentage is just how far in the Story you've gone? That sucks, in Arkham Asylum the percentage was for doing everything and not just the story stuff.

There's more than one percentage. My percentage for Main Story is 100% but my overall percentage is something like 44% right now.

I've got some percents at 0, others are various numbers, etc etc.

There's a ton of percentages telling you how far you've progressed in every little thing.

Just beat and wow.... One of the best endings to a game I have ever seen and really made me sad in a good way. Still have alot to do but exploring the city is worth it. I have 57% total finished.

It has my vote for GOTY so far.

Then again, there's always Lazarus Pits.

I hope to GOD they take advantage of that.

That's what gives me hope, it will just take time to find a new pit, but I doubt the league will leave her and Ral. I just can't see it. The order would fall apart without them.

Though the death of the great one() was still a shocker, but dam was it so well done.

I hate sounding like a jerk, but too bad.

The internet is the WORST place to be before a game's release(or after it, in this case) if you want to be spoiler free.

I'm gonna be dropping spoiler bombs in a few days time. My apologies, but I simply do not have the patience to wait that long.

By that time, Arkham's been out, Battlefield 3 has been out, Modern Warfare 3 has been out, Skyrim has been out, Assassins Creed Revelations has been out-

I'll have A LOT to talk about. Perhaps my mind will drift off Arkham and you'll be spared, in which case its not so bad.

But I don't know, I can't predict the future. What I CAN predict is I'm in a crazy hungry mood to post about the game and that includes its spoilers. Currently did a bit of that on youtube. Will begin to do so here this coming Tuesday.

So why exactly is the PC version delayed for a month? More of this anti-piracy BS? Adding more DRM? I'm thinking about canceling my PC pre-order. I wanted to play this before Skyrim, but now I'll probably won't play it for at least a year or more.

Yeah, Warner Bros just hates PC. AFAIK there are already 3 DRM's (GFWL, SecuRom, STEAM). Not sure if they can add more...

Alfred did have a point though and reminded Bruce of the reason why he became Batman in the first place. Though Protocle(sp) ten it self was intense, I had no clue it was gonig to be THAT, not to mention the true mastermind behind it.
