So I downloaded Mass Effect 1 from the Microsoft Market place along with Pinnacle Station and BDTS. I first downloaded the main game, BDTS, and then Pinnacle Station. There are multiple sections that the game freezes. The first portion is when you destroy the Cerbeus station and the second place is at Zhu's Hope as you first go up the stairs after you dock.
I have deleted the downloads and reinstalled them 3 times and the results never change. It is not possible to delete the cache from the system because even if I do, the downloaded version does not install any updates.
Any suggestions?

Read the sticky thread on how to report an issue and update the post. After you have done that there might be someone who can help you but at the moment it's really hard due to the lack of information.

The Sticky describing how to report problems is based on the PC version. The Xbox360 version is a different kettle of fish that I can't help anyone with, that's certain (and Microsoft only distributed that console version, not the one for PCs).

Oh well...I may as well chime in....
Depends on what you mean by 'freezing'. If a game freezes then typically one needs to reload and replay the section since your last save (thus it is wise to save often for RPGs just in case something untoward happens). Freezes in this sense of the word are rather random.
However, that you indicate definitive places where the game 'freezes' I am tempted to read that as 'pause'. That is to say the game needs time to update information in order to continue (i.e., the game is loading).
On the other hand it could indicate a slightly iffy download (or worse case scenario, something wrong with your HDD), in which case I would suggest redownloading it which will obviously take time.
I wouldn't expect there to be 'further' updates to be honest, as I would have thought any patches would have been installed when you first downloaded it. Certainly there won't be any new patches given the age of the game.
