If the real game is anything even remotely like this I swear I will throw my computer out a window.

Why even bother allowing us to level up our characters if enemies become STRONGER than our characters with each new level.

My rogue, mage and warrior ALL GET TWO SHOTTED. BY GENLOCKS. AT LEVEL 6/7.

What difficulty are you playing on? On normal most of the fights didn't get me anywhere near death.

Yes I'm playing on normal as far as I know (didn't specify otherwise).

I heard that full caps lock is auto-pilot for cool. T/F?

By the way, I don't think you should get the game if you had problems caused by difficulty in Journeys. Origins is supposed to be much harder and requires more stragetgy than that flash game.

I'm just terribly frustrated at the moment - sorry. I've been trying to kill these 2 Genlock Alphas and Ogre for half an hour now.

On normal? Come on, broseph. It's not that difficult, even without CC.

Yeah, she yelled at the enemy instead of the party, so... thus two-shots. (I haven't played, so I'm not sure if it's a benifit or penalty.)

Please tell me that Bioware isn't going to be pulling an Oblivion and making the enemies all level with you.

I prefer power leveling and getting at least brief spurts of God complex when i can waste crowds with a dirty look and a hand gesture.

While I didnt find the game that difficult.. I agree that it was not the most enjoyable thing. Truthfully I suffered through it just for the in game items.. only to have the achievements change on me just before I finished... I wont suffer through it again to get the helm.

Oh for the love of lulz...

The title of the thread shouldn't be "DA: Journeys is Terrible" (forgot caps lock). It should be "DA: Journeys is too hard! WAAAAAAH!!!"

You need atleast some kind of strategy to get through this game and some common sense is helpful aswell e.g. If you cant beat the Ogre and two alphas on normal difficulty, then try it on easy instead of whining here.
And about the war cry missing, it means that the war cry didnt have any effect on the enemies.

It would be nice if some sort of strategy could be formed at all for the flash game.

Opening sequence of events:
1) I cast staff bolt on a genlock alpha.
2) both genlocks summon magical boulders out of thin air, instantly killing my mage
3) my rogue goes into stealth for a backstab.
4) ogre reduces warriors health to 20% in one hit
5) my warrior uses war shout or maybe attacks one of the genlocks
6) genlocks slaughter what remains of my warrior
7) rogue gets a backstab
8) rogue gets slaughtered

Hey hey I've been through these kinds of difficulties and it does get very frustrating, but frequently stocking on potions, and have good strategy and you will progress through I am sure. ;P

Although in my opinion, this game would have gone a little bit better if bioware did most of it. eh...

Rest assured, this is nothing like what dragon age origins will be, if it is, then it's safe to say we all should go over to ea and start a riot, saying on our picket signs "STOP MURDERING OUR FAV GAME DEVELOPERS!!!"

Hm...I actually found it very easy to destroy an ogre, and two genlock alphas on hard...yet he can't do it on normal...? *tsk tsk tsk...*

@Naelven, I agree...

What's your party makeup? What strategy are you using for the encounter? You shouldn't really be having so much difficulty with it on normal.

p.s. ease off of the caps lock if you ever hope to be taken seriously.

IMO - atleast on mage (I had two) get that knockback/stun ability in Spirit or w/e, but one mage with it will do too, works well.

EDIT: Mainly because Ogres wouldn't have a high 'mental' resistance...they're Ogres...

There is a thread about beating the ogres and genlock alphas if you cared to search.
