I'm going to say Alain Prost because if this thread is going to be reduced to a flame war, I want it to be a good one.RageGT wrote...

When I was seventeen, after a lifetime of bullying I had a...Hard time opening up to people. I kept to myself and I was scared whenever anyone as much as looked at me. Then she came along and noticed I was reading a book she liked. She started talking to be even though she knew I was scared s***less. A few months later I was able to participate in classes instead of just sitting and observing what everyone else did, as she helped me get over my
social phobia.
She's my hero(ine).

Muhammad > Jesus, historical or legendary, as a prophet or a philosopher.
Muhammad was also a brilliant statesman, general, and entrepreneur. Jesus was a better carpenter though.
It's just that Jesus somehow attracted a lot more violent followers in the 2,000 years after he was dead.
Jesus attracted more violent followers than Muhammad?
That is quite laughable considering even Muhammad himself spread Islam by the sword, and we don't see too many Christians strapping bombs on themselves and self-detonating on trains or buses, or crashing hijacked planes into office buildings.
Just for the record I'm a bit of an agnostic, but think it is silly how Islam gets a pass on its record of violence and oppression of both women and relgious miniorities, from many of the same people on the left who love to go on about how horrible Christianity is.

I made a mistake with my comment which is what started this. Let's not carry on about religion.

This is offensive and can start a huge flame war. I don't wish to take part in it.

My post was offensive but the ones that criticized Christianity were not?
Yay for double standards!
Don't worry, I'm sure a moderator will be along to delete my post but not the others. I'm fully aware that these double standards exist. It is politically correct to criticize Christianity and politically incorrect to criticize Islam.

It's difficult to say. Although my parents have always been there for me when I've needed them, they weren't really aware of what was going on when I was addicted to drugs. I kept that to myself and locked the hurt deep inside. In time it was my own body that started to reject them. If it wasn't for my body telling me enough was enough and my mind telling me I needed to let it go, I may not be here now.
So... my Hero is my courage. Every single day.
Well done, babe. I can't fully relate, but I can imagine how much willpower was needed to get over that - I thought I struggled with OCD as a kid, but that must've been a lot more difficult.

Dude the thing is I can dish out as much if not more about Christianity. And I can sit here and defend Islam, but I won't cause it's the wrong forum for that. If you have any comments or questions take it up with me on the PMs hopefully I can enlighten you to your misconceptions. And so you know Islam has absolutley nothing against Christinanity and in fact holds Isa (Jesus) as one of it's greatest prophets.
